Jake's Place - American restaurant in Alcoa - 3749 Airway Dr, USA

We found the parking a bit tight when we arrived for an early dinner. We were promptly seated and had an excellent server. We had 3 people with us and we all tried different things and the portions were very large. I felt like the food was average. We tried the cheese burger, open faced roast beef sandwich and a salad with chicken. My burger was cooked good but it wasn't up there with a lot of my favorite places. The roast beef was delecious but the dark gravy was not my favorite tasting but the okra and coleslaw sides were very good. The salad with spicy ranch was a new take for me and it was good.

Now with the food being great and the servers serving. This restaurant gives you th e best to satisfy your stomach just look at how cheesy that Philly cheesesteak looks like. Delicious food and the atmosphere as well.

First time experience at this restaurant. I was not disappointed! A nice, clean restaurant with a relaxed country atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious. Friendly server, attentive, and personable. I will definitely eat here again when I am back in the area.

You get a lot of food for reasonable prices. The atmosphere was welcoming, the service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious!!

Five friends and I went there last night for the first time. Everything was wonderful. Best fried pickles and fried green tomatoes we’ve ever had. The margaritas were wonderful. We got a hamburger steak with grilled onions, chicken, pasta, Alfredo, country, fried steak, open face, roast, beef sandwich, club sandwich, and Philly cheesesteak. And of course we had to try the banana pudding, which was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly and so tasty. The portions are large. The servers are friendly. The owners are great. We will definitely be back again.

First visit since RJ's closed. Was happy to see Grouper Bites on the menu however they are not the same as before. They have a thick chewy breading around very small pieces of fish. So sad they couldn't get RJ's recipe. My husband had a burger and tots. He enjoyed both, burger large and tots very crispy. I had the special French Dip. Took almost 1/2 home, it was such a big portion. Would have liked more cheese on the sandwich. Sad that the place wasn't busier. Would like to see the small bar appetizers return and some happy hour bar prices. The decor hasn't changed. The awesome fish tank is gone.

Great diner food. The staff is really friendly and attentive. The chef salad is really good. Also try the corn nuggets! They're amazing! Bring you appetite because the servings are huge!

Descent lunch -- BBQ sandwich, roasted potatoes & mac 'n cheese, plus Banana Pudding for dessert! Superb service!
