Jaho Coffee Roaster & Bakery - Cafe in Salem - 130 Canal St, USA

We placed our order at 5:32 PM and after asking a couple of times, we finally got it 15 minutes later and no, no one else was waiting for an order. I got a flat white, it was luke warm and tasted a little sour. Not great. My husband had a milk tea with boba and the boba was chewy and disgusting. At $18 for two drinks, not worth it at all. This was our first and most likely our last time here. It’s too bad because it’s a cute place and we really wanted to like it. My husband wanted me to add that it seems like a great place for the idle class (both customers and employees) to hang out. Update: management team reached out to me to discuss my experience. They tried to make it right which I greatly appreciated. I will give them another try.

This place is simply epic! What a great experience. If you are looking for a trendy coffee shop, with good food and good coffee , you are in luck. It has lots of treats from Japan as well. I am only in Salem for a day but if I even return this is definitely going to be a place I visit again.

I've been here a couple times for coffee and bagel and have been very impressed. The atmosphere is cheerful and fun. The assortment of donuts and pastries is tempting. Not too crowded, but I have only been here in summer when there are fewer Salem State students, and it's not in downtown, so it's quieter, and there's parking next to the shop.

Caroline was our barista and we just popped in for a quick snack. I love all the options in the cafe and the atmosphere is to die for. I wish I could live here. She even listened to my request when I asked for no lid.

Jaho Canal Street is my 2nd home! Literally!!! From delicious treats, yummy and loose leaf teas, to anything your looking for! The staff is wonderful, kind, friendly, and patient! The atmosphere is open, inviting, bright, and perfect for gatherings with family, friends, studying, or playing board and card games! I cannot say enough about this amazing business and fantastic owner!!!

This cafe is so cute. Beautiful plants, beautiful desserts, the coffee is amazing. Look at this cute cup!!!! The only thing I'd have to say is that the bagels are a bit stiff compared to other cafes and franchisees. I have tried two different locations in Salem and Boston and it was the same result.

Great cortado and desserts! I also love their design and all the different seating areas. Great spot to grab a coffee and work for a bit too. They also have coffee and different cool snacks for sale.

Love the vegan breakfast options! Although, I wish they also had vegan baked goods and lunch options, because the donuts, pastries, and sandwiches looked delicious. Great selection of non-vegan food options.
