Jade III - Chinese restaurant in Amesbury - 2 Market St, USA

This was always our first choice for Chinese but I have been disappointed lately with the quality of some of their dishes. Last night we ordered their Hon Sue Gai which is our favorite dish and have ordered it many times over the years. This time it ended up in the trash. The sauce was so dark and full of molasses or whatever they use, it was inedible. Sorry Jade III, but you are losing us as customers. Restaurant food is so high priced now, it should be the best it can be.

Love love love love this place. Their food is always so good and so quick. I've gotten them through GrubHub and picked up food directly. Everyone is so nice and their food is so yummy! I never liked egg rolls until I had them from here.

Pork fried rice had so much soy sauce in it super salty. Egg roll was different wasn't horrible but different. Chicken fingers tasted and smelt funk so those got tossed. Best thing on my dish was the beef teriyaki that was really good and tender also crab rangoons were delish. Duck sauce looked very light and watery but very good to my surprise!

I'm so disappointed, I ordered veg lo mein the noddle was bloated it had hardly any vegetable's the steak teriyaki was more like tube steak teriyaki so i still had an egg roll, so I thought all egg rolls are good, right? not burnt one's, I order an hour before they closed but that still no reason to get Luce warm, burnt, and tasteless bloated food. I will not return except for a refund!! Very disappointed. $24--

Been going there for years. Pupu platter, pork fried rice, and pad Thai noodles are our usual go to. Consistent quality will definitely keep us getting our Chinese food fix at Jade III when we have the yen.

If you like staples in your food you should order here! I heard they have a side of nails aswell.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. This was the first time I have ever tried this place and I will never order from there again. Everything seemed fine and the food was decent, until I bit into one of the boneless spare ribs served in the Pu Pu platter and got a STAPLE in my mouth instead. So dangerous and not okay! I am attaching a picture. Be careful when ordering from this place, you may get a staple in your food.

Tried ordering through door dash which was a big mistake, more than half the order was missing, tried clearing things up with door dash but wasn’t getting anywhere. Decided to call the restaurant to see if there was anything they could do. Got a solution very quick and received my order at no extra cost in less than 30 minutes, great food and great service will definitely order directly next time.
