What an awesome park it is. Jaco Pastorius Park is super greeny with a nice view on it. Really great for family bonding, and a dog friendly environment. Kids will definitely enjoy being there.
I am going to give this park high marks for a few reasons. First, they maintain this park very well. There is a circular quarter mile trail that you can. The park has some great landscaping and grassy areas where you can sit down and enjoy a nice day. I find the murals on the park building very well done. You will also find many dogs walking in the morning and in the evening. There is a water fountain that greets you. The park closes at dark and is locked.
Love going every year to see the lighting of the tree @ Jaco Pastorius park. Enjoy seeing Santa come down street on fire truck, and then marching on with NE band!
One of the best parts I've ever been to with my dog. A lot of people with their dogs go and all of them are well-behaved well 95% of them.
Very clean and the people are amazing.
My expectations were set too high and when I visited the park I was sadly disappointed. Jaco Pastorious was one of S.Fla greatest bass player that changed the game to when it came to playing the instrument and such a pitiful park was named in his honor. I was disappointed.
The park is just a field of grass and all you can do is walk around the park.
Jaco Pastorius is an absolute legend. Incredible virtuoso that is the Jimi Hendrix of bass. The park is a beautiful tribute to a local hero who should always be remembered.
I wouldnt really call it a park, but it is a nice place to come an jog, walk or even ride your bike. If you have well behaved pets it's a good place to bring them.

By far the best groomer in Oakland Park. Iâve been getting Monkey groomed there for almost a year. He goes there every 2 weeks. Great prices. The staff is the best. And he comes home with an adorable bow everytime. Highly recommended !!!!!!!!!!!
The food here is AMAZING. We came here for breakfast and we all loved our meals. The steak sandwich was particularly delicious, and I loved their iced mocha and freshly squeezed orange juice. A beautiful outdoor courtyard to sit in and great service.
