Love coming back to Jackson’s! My go to place for deviled eggs, prime rib, ribeye, salmon salad, burgers and their best buns! I’ve tried just about everything on the menu. Look forward to visiting when I’m in town. Another awesome dining experience, thank you for making dessert the way we like it

We have been dining at the Great American restaurants for years. Jacksons in RTC is one we have been frequenting but I never thought to review it. The service is as it is at other GA restaurants. Refills on drinks before asking, always attentive. The food is consistently great. Something for everyone. Prime rib and the salmon are our regulars. These guys cover parking during the week if paying for parking is a deterrent.

Bread Basket 2/3 We got the assorted bread. The only decent bread was the circle one (people call it Ozzie). It's honestly like a Chinese donut sans sugar. Lol. The raisin bread was hard on the crust side. Sadly didn't like it. Deviled Eggs 2/3 It was okay, will not order again. The bacon that came with it was really good though. The eggs themselves were just okay, nothing too special. They have larger chopped celery (I think) mixed in with the eggs which gave it texture which was pretty different. It also had walnuts on top which my husband wasn't a fan of, but I didn't mind it. Warm Goat Cheese & Pecan Salad 3/3 This was good, and will be ordering again. It has a light vinaigrette dressing. The goat cheese was really good and worked well with the overall salad. They also hit the croutons underneath. This was my favorite dish that we ordered. Lobster Rolls 2/3 It's okay, will not order again. I think it lacks seasoning. The sauce that was mixed in with the lobster was creamy but was bland. I've had Lobster rolls from Maine and this isn't close. The bread was buttery and good though. Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes 2/3 It was okay, will not order again. This was my husband's order. He said it was forgettable. He said it was weak on the seasoning. The sauce is the only one that added the flavor on the Crab, so you'd have to slather the sauce. I also ate half of his Crab cake, and there was a clump of salt... I'm assuming it wasn't mixed that well. Overall, food is a 2/3. It was okay, but will not go back for the food. Service 3/3 I forgot the name of our waiter, but he was on point with the drink refills and answered all of our questions. Everyone we dealt with was generally nice. Ambiance 2/3 It was okay, but not ground breaking. It was dark and comfy in a good way but decor was kind of confusing. The vibe was showing signs of a retro diner, an Italian restaurant (because of the large painting on the wall), and a sports bar. Either way, it was clean and presentable. Cost: We paid $130 for our food + 2 refillable sodas.

French Dip: 9.5/10 (bread was perfectly soft). Filet Mignon: 8.5/10 (would be even better with a béarnaise sauce). Corn on the Cob: 10/10. Grilled Broccoli: 10/10 (superb lemon zest and Parmesan). Artichoke Dip: 9.5/10 (loved the Parmesan and chip saltiness). Total was $83.74 before tip (also included 1 soda).

Came here on a Friday night, and it was absolutely packed. I highly recommend making a reservation, because it took us 15 additional minutes past our reservation time to get a table. Once we got a table, everything went super smoothly. Great service, food, and vibes in general. I went with the penne primavera with chicken, which was delicious and really filling. The bread basket is also really good, but does cost a dollar so keep that in mind. Great spot, but it gets busy so make sure to book ahead!

We enjoyed the atmosphere and had very little wait time to be seated for a Saturday evening. Our food service was good. The crab croquet appetizer was deliciously perfect! My sea bass was a bit undercooked so I left those parts on the plate (I was too tired to complain) and my daughter's salmon was overcooked as it was drier than we preferred. The gluten free chocolate waffle dessert was great, but the bread pudding was drier than expected but still had good flavor. We will return and try other things on the menu.

Good place to get lunch, plenty of options to pick from here. The service is good and the food is very tasty and delicious! This location also validates parking at Reston Town Center parking garages. The dessert options here look tasty as well, although I never saved room for any before!

Best server ever, ask for Michelle! She was so kind and super attentive. We started with the calamari and the tuna poke, always so delicious. I then got the salmon and it is consistently so flavorful with the slightly smoky flavor and always well cooked. Jackson’s never misses.
