Walked over from the river front. And picked up a horse (mule) drawn carriage tour of local haunts. The park has an interesting history. It's beautiful to walk around with plenty of places to sit and take pictures.

Good place with a good history. Jackson square always busy especially on weekends. Many street art and historical buildings around the park . Good view in front of the park and a cathedral behind.

While we went at a time where it was not crowded, the atmosphere was still lively. It was rather cold so there were not the vendors I expected but that is okay as it gave us a chance to catch a carriage on Decatur for a great tour. The area was clean beautiful and such a wonderful view of St. Louis Cathedral. Can't wait to visit again.

It was nice to walk around the historic square and see art from local artists. We took a break and sat down on the benches in the park and listened to live music and the church bells telling the time.

Surrounded by historic buildings and homes this place is a great place to relax. Nested between the famous bourbon st and the French market this place offers a great escape from the sensory overload that is New Orleans. This is a great place to relax and take some amazing photos. We sat on the grass and just enjoyed the beautiful weather before heading to the French market for lunch! Surrounded by local vendors, musicians and artists this place truly captures the essence and beauty of New Orleans

Wonderful place to relax & enjoy what this park has to offer. Artists, musicians, people from all the web, & the best Beignets at Cafe Du Monde. On this day I also enjoyed a festival honoring those who migrated to New Orleans from India.

We thoroughly enjoyed our quiet walk through the park. We visited on one of the coldest days of the year, so there weren't many people out and about, which made for a pleasant stroll.
