Not impressed. We created the My HJ portal and nothing was uploaded for our taxes for the prior year. We scheduled an appointment to get our taxes and were treated as if it was inconveniencing them. Instead of getting the full taxes, they sent my husband home with just the 1040 main sheet. I called back and explained I needed all schedules, etc. They asked if I knew how many pages it was and I said yes (I work with loans and see them everyday). They said they would be ready to pick up the next day. I asked if they would be uploaded into the portal and was told no.
Unfortunately we will not be a returning client.
I have used Jackson Hewitt, specifically Debbie Taylor, for the past several years for my taxes. She is professional, knowledgeable and very efficient. I appreciate her helpfulness and highly recommend Jackson Hewitt and Debbie.
I have used Jackson Hewitt for the past 3 yrs for my self employment taxes, I was audited last year so when I called my local office to get it figured out Debbie Taylor was more than happy to help me through it and get all my documents sent over and we got it resolved. I have always been able to call and have answers right away it's always great to know you have a professional making sure it's all right!
If I could leave 0 stars I would. Richard Dunham got up in the middle of helping my husband and I with our return to help not 1 but 2 customers that walked in after us. Left us sitting in his office alone for 20 minutes!!! This place was absolutely Horrible. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND….
Debbie has been our preparer for a few years now, and her expertise and patience makes filing taxes a lot less stressful. She is an invaluable asset to the Jackson Hewitt brand.
