One of my favorite places to go. Lots of parking nearby. It’s in Oakland but police is always here to watch. No worry about crime only this area. If you walk outside, it’s different story
Jack London square will always hold a place in my heart. Even if the feeling is not as potent as when I was younger . I use to come here each Christmas to see the lights, the tree ect. It's a nice place through out the year anyway but Xmas Is my favorite time . I just miss the old stores , the old pizza restaurant with deep dish pizza.
This location is great for a day trip! The parking is reasonable, the view along the waterfront is beautiful and there are many shops and breweries within walking distance. A great place to take a stroll and try something new
Beautiful place to eat and stroll. Feels like mini Sausalito. The parking is just at the main square, if it gets full - there are few more nearby. It gives a different vibe than rest of the Oakland area. I would recommend going there, having a drink or dine in with the amazing choices of restaurants.
Great food places and love how they have the benches so that you can relax and enjoy the view. Very peaceful.
Super relaxing evening walk here and got to see a different view of SF skyline and Bay bridge than I'm used to. Nice to have something close and outside to do. Lots of friendly doggies and dog walkers about and good selection of indoor/outdoor eateries and such. Cool just checking out the boats and marina too.
Parking is available at this location at 1.50 dollars if you are visiting for an hour. Sea food available here. Open bar counter near the parking area. Enough place for sitting for more than 5 too. Have a walk till the end of the Pier. Dog park is at the end of the walk.
Quaint, by the water, great restaurants to visit. You have to pass by a homeless tent city so just keep your eyes open.
