This location used to be great, food and service... But it has steadily been going downhill over the past few years. Tonight, we ordered a combo meal (whopper Jr w/cheese, onion rings, & Dr Pepper), 4 piece mozzarella sticks, and a bacon 🍔 cheeseburger (plain/no condiments).
#1) They failed to provide us with a receipt for our order.
#2) The mozzarella sticks were slightly below room temperature, & the cheese was rubbery and reminded me of string cheese after being left open in a car during the summer heat.
#3) The whopper was horrible! It was put together so sloppy! The bun was not only flat, but it was also very dry, as if it were old or had been left uncovered, & sitting on a counter for several hours.
It was, by far, the worst day for experience I've had in a VERY long time!
I was experiencing a restroom emergency. I was fully intent on being a buying customer as I needed to use the facilities. Being I was in a state of urgency. I left my wallet in the car. Although I insisted that I would make a purchase, I was denied access to the lavatory. So I proceeded to use the parking lot as a relief area, so not to soil myself.
Keeping my word I went inside the restraint restaurant, placed and paid for an order and respectfully thanked the on duty manager for providing the parking lot as an OUTHOUSE!
GOD BLESS EVERYONE AND MERRY CHRISTMAS
We ordered our food around 930pm. We were treated nicely. We were the only car in line and asked to pull around to the parking lot without an explanation. We were made to wait 30 min for our food. Around the 20min mark we went to obtain a refund but the doors were locked and no one was being allowed in. When our food was brought out to us it was given to the another customer. Luckily the dude was cool and realized it wasn't his food and gave it to us. Somehow after waiting 30min for our food it was cold.
Shocked .
1st mistake -
Simple order 6 tacos NO lettuce curly fry and soda
Was parked out front for a good few
Wrong change given to me
Get almost home, guess what !? Lettuce on tacos & stale cardboard fries
Went back... got replaced tacos
Parked again !
No fries
Tacos were right
And soo much attitude was given. Unapologetic
I don't remember ordering attitude.... guess it's complimentary when they screw up there
The staff were friendly and super fast when it came to getting things done, the only downside was the area lol everything else was great, hands down the best service I've gotten from jack in the box in years
Total trash. They never have anything ready and make you wait out front. Every is dirty inside and out. An employees all have an attitude.
A friend of mine and myself took off for a bike ride early in the morning along the Kern River bike path here in Bakersfield California to see just how much the Mighty Kern River has gone down in a months time since all that dangerous high water we had and Jack in the box was our first stop for some breakfast croissants
We were greeted with smiling faces and attentive attitudes. We were in and out and back on our bike ride in no time. Just the way fast food should be. A+ to this franchise. That is fast food. I will definitely be stopping here again. I like a lot of the menu items from Jack in the box. And this one is close to home
Friendly helpful staff here. Food was good and also freshly made. The dining room was clean and well maintained. If you want to use the restroom the staff will have to assist you to get inside. The homeless element in the area is really the only thing negative about this particular Jack in the box that I can think of, but that isn't their fault.

Their burgers are solid. Chicken is chicken. Fried. Their French fries, ask for them a little crispy and they will make them that way. The chili fries were a very eye opening surprise. Maybe the best thing on the menu. Chili is really good
The best burgers in Bakersfield hands down. You will never go wrong with a burger and a strawberry shake from this place. They get down with their food. All the guys and girls that work here are always so pleasant and friendly they are all professio
Excellent chicken, nice add ones. Excellent service. I attribute this to their good staffing levels. Great selection of cool music inside the dining area.
I absolutely love the burgers here. Iâll get the triple with fries u just canât go wrong with that combo . Every time I go Bakersfield I indulge 𤤠Great service too!
I primarily order using delivery, and the food is always hot and fresh. Fries are sometimes undercooked which is my only tiff. Never had any issues with their ice cream machine when ordering floats. Overall I love the brand, especially that itâs st
We love the deals that we score at our local Checkers. The fries are the absolute best, and did you know that you can buy the fries at your local WinCo on Coffee Road in Bakersfield, California? We also love the fact that Checkers recognize and welc
All of our tacos were delicious! Loved the green salsa they came with. And limes squeezed on top was perfect! Our chips were nice and crispy, and that salsa also had good flavor. We also got Agua Frescas, and enjoyed both of them; piña, and horchata
The reason Iâm giving the five stars is definitely due to their customer service. I ordered a strawberry shake and the gentleman at the window, which I believe must have been the manager proceeded to hand it to me by saying I added two cherries bec
Stopped for dinner in Bakersfield on our way to San Jose. We enjoyed some pupusas - shrimp for hubby & loroco (squash flower) for me. The chicken tamal was very fluffy and had more of a spongy texture. The plantain empanadas were very rich and creamy
