Dear Jack in the Box Corporate Office Date: November 26, 2023Dear Jack in the Box Management,I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service and recurring errors at the Jack in the Box location at 8500 Magnolia Ave, Santee, CA 92071.Incident Date: November 26, 2023On the mentioned date, I placed an order totaling $19.03, which included 2 tacos, a Bacon Swiss Buttery Burger, 8 nuggets, and 5 churros. Upon arriving home, I realized that instead of the Bacon Swiss Buttery Burger, I received a $3 breakfast burger. This was not what I ordered or paid for.Immediate Response and Issue:I promptly called the store to address this error. The manager, identified as Mayra or Maira, answered the call. I explained the situation and expressed my concern that such errors have been a recurring issue. Initially, she offered to replace the burger but asked for my name and phone number. When I insisted on a refund due to the frequency of such mistakes, her response was unprofessional and dismissive. She refused to take down my information unless it was for a replacement burger and stated that I would need to return immediately if I wanted a refund, as she was leaving soon.This response was not only unhelpful but also rude. Her refusal to accommodate a reasonable request and the abrupt termination of our call were both unacceptable and unprofessional.Expectations and Resolution:As a regular customer, I am extremely disappointed with the level of service and the lack of accountability in rectifying mistakes. It is disheartening that such issues are not taken seriously, affecting the overall customer experience.I would like to request that this matter be looked into, and appropriate actions are taken to improve service quality and order accuracy at this location. I also expect a formal apology for the inconvenience caused and a refund for the incorrect item.Thank you for your attention to this matter. This restaurant made my food well and offered great service. I have no issue with this restaurant at all, however, Jack in the box as a whole has been a bit disappointing to me. Nothing ever looks like what it does on the menu. The people and quality are great though.

Was not impressed by the size of the sandwich. Other fast food I have tried will give you a larger sandwich with full slices of bacon. Plus the cheese looks to have been squirted on.

I ordered 2 Jumbo Jack meals that cost $23! On top of that, the food was poor quality with bland flavor and was basically bread, patty, and pickles. The app did not apply a falsifying 20% off. I would give 0 stars.

Stood in line today 10/5/23 @ 1:15pm and was told by 4 different employees they’d be right with me. There began to form a line behind me when I walked in I was the only customer. Now there’s 5 people in line and I haven’t even been spoken to other than “one moment”(x4). I walked out, I go to this Jack in the box a lot but will not go back after seeing how much they truly care about their jobs and the customers they serve. Do your self a favor and save yourself some time and money and go somewhere else Where they actually appreciate their customers.

Waited a long time in the drive thru for them to say they didn’t have Oreo shakes. Lazy as$ workers. Can’t stand lazy workers. I was going to order a large order but cancel since they were too lazy to make a shake.

Bunch of kid working and don’t have any sort of customer service skills. Little girl was training someone and talking rude about customer's to the new trainee. Multiple employees were joking around on the head set for over 15 min that I was waiting for my order. No one was in the lobby but me. No reason for the order to take forever.

Worst Jack In The Box by far. EVER. They kept my card and refused to admit it. I didn’t even realise it was missing until long after I left. Big mistake. Calling the restaurant for ANYTHING will also get you nowhere because they never answer. If you go to this location and you pay by card, make DAMN SURE they give you your card back or they might do the same thing to you that they did to me. Oh, and guess what else happened? When I went back to confront the cashier who identified herself as the manager (same person who served me shortly before 11pm on Wednesday, 28 June 2023), she still refused to admit to keeping my card. Oh, and no receipt was given! So sly, but it’s okay—corporate might have the information I’m looking for. And the icing on the cake? When I mentioned that I will be calling corporate, she said “f*** you”. Extremely unprofessional. Worst experience I’ve ever had at any fast food restaurant place ever. Never returning to this location ever again. Fire the graveyard shift at this place (including the so-called “manager”) and replace them with better, more professional staff members. At least I was able to lock my card…
