My husband and I had dinner here. We tried the chicken nachitos, the crispy fried catfish and slaw, and the chicken fried New York strip. For dessert had the blondie brownie pie. The food was all delicious. The chicken for the nachos was seasoned well. My husband said his catfish was crunchy, and the sauce gave it a good taste. The country fried steak was juicy and crunchy. It had the right amount of batter and was fried to perfection. The green chili gravy has the right amount of spice for me because I am not a fan of spicy foods. The brownie was a bit too sweet for me, but my husband ate it. Overall, it was great.
Food looks good, but lacks salt and/or seasoning. I don't cook with much salt but I had to add salt and pepper on everything I ate accept the pimento cheese, it was good. I had the guacamole, and chicken pesto crab stuffed chicken. I tried my co workers mac in cheese and it lacked seasoning in my opinion. I went for a group work Christmas lunch. We had to vote on where to go and this is the restaurant that won. It was not my 1st choice since we went last year. I personally would not recommend.
Great restaurant we like. The deep fried New York strip was so crispy and tender.
Love Jack Allen’s was great! The only reason for 4 stars is the trout had no flavor BUT that chicken sandwich was the BEST we’ve ever had. Drinks are well prices and so good! Stacey at the bar was nice and it’s a great vibe. Highly recommended for lunch or brunch and definitely will be back!
I’ve always enjoyed Jack Allen’s Kitchen, especially the original one. The one in Westlake was really off last night. Three couples met for dinner. The server was excellent. Drinks were good and came quickly. Luckily we sat in a corner because it is loud in the restaurant when it is full. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food but the kitchen failed to dress the wedge salad and failed to serve the entree to one of our party. By the time it came our food was cold. I ordered a green chili cheeseburger without the bun. It wasn’t cooked as ordered and very mediocre. No sides. We will give it another try because we know everyone is short handed.
Always a great place to eat and drink. I usually get the Ruby Red Trout Salad every time because it’s awesome! But they had a special this night as a Shrimp Ceviche Tostado entree so I tried it…also awesome! I had the Jack Margarita with it that was spicy but not too much and the German Chocolate Brownie for dessert. It was good but nothing wowing. The strawberry crumble that my husband had was better. Great service!
Food is to die for and service was divine. Definitely recommend this place over and over again Both the pork medallions and the braised beef barbacoa enchiladas were delicious as well as their version of guacamole with pumpkin seeds in it. Not much for their special pimento cheese but everyone else loved it. The gluten free chips were really good.
Parking can be a little tight if you come during peak hour. Plenty in the back of the building, just need to walk a little. Friendly staff and pretty fast service. We did enjoy the food. But not sure why, we got super thirsty after. Food didn't taste that salty all. Will give it another try since it's near by.

Wow! Amazing service. Folks welcoming and the atmosphere was great. Not too loud. Good for an intimate dinner. Had the blackened red snapper in a crab sauce. It didnât look like much but was so delicious. Best thing Iâve eaten in a while. Would
Brought my family here for a weekend brunch and absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. I rarely commend a brunch place about their coffee but Mattieâs really outdone themselves. Definitely try their milk puff french toast and their well known butt
One of my favorite restaurant experiences this year. The food, atmosphere, and service were impeccable. Very well run place in Mueller. Ate here a few months ago and it is still on my mind so I had to take the time to write a review. We chose to

This place is fantastic! I had such a great workout! The treadmills are excellent, and you can actually feel a difference between Strideâs treadmills and regular ones. The teacher Rachael was clear and encouraging. The vibes were great: modificatio
A feeling of calm radiates from this lovely coffee truck. I observed many regulars (including pups) interacting in a community way. A canopy of a ginormous pecan tree gives the Terrible Love protection as well protecting some of the abundant greener

Stumbled upon this gem on South 1st and was able to try a variety of fresh samples. As a plant based eater, I was blown away at the creativity given to the menu. The Campfire Chili is hands down the best chili Iâve tasted. The owner Aaron was very
Our experience at Bar AC was fantastic! We had a great time and it was a wonderful send-off for our friend. The cocktails were top-notch, and the service was excellent. Courtney, our waitress, was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed. If
Elite coffee spot. I make a physical effort to stop by each time I'm in town, and I'd be here every day if I lived in Austin. Try the pumpkin spice latte, they make it the perfect level of not too sweet
Visited Austin for the weekend and took the free trial at Ambush. It was awesome and I would definitely recommend checking this gym out. I've been training Muay Thai and MMA for ~ 2-3 years now and this gym is great for learning Muay Thai and striki
