Jacaranda Lakes Park is a great family-friendly location for outdoor activities. The park features basketball and pickleball courts, making it a perfect spot for sports enthusiasts. In addition to the courts, Jacaranda Lakes Park also has a playground area for children and a covered pavilion with picnic tables, providing an ideal location for family gatherings or birthday parties. Jacaranda Lakes Park provides a fun and competitive atmosphere for all ages.

This park is fenced in with multiple areas of play that overlap. There’s a great view of a waterway and a walking path. The grounds are well maintained and there’s clean restrooms.

Great park for kids to burn their energy. Hidden gem.

When our children visit this is the preferred park for our grandchildren. They don't mind walking over a mile to get there. It has fenced-in toddler-appropriate climbing toys and swings. Mounded terrain (which toddlers see as mountains) and gravel walking/running path alongside the canal. Restrooms. Off-street parking for cars. Half-court basketball. One tennis court. One pickleball court. Painted hopscotch and four-square areas. In spite of the name there aren't a lot of Jacaranda trees but there are lots of beautiful shade trees. On most days I ride my bike past this park several times and I've never seen it overcrowded, although it is well subscribed. Jacaranda Lakes is well maintained by the City of Plantation. Even though it is a neighborhood park I'm sure that there are people from outside the immediate neighborhood, like my grandchildren, who see it as a desired destination.

Nice playground for kids of all ages. Pickleball court and tennis court. Plenty of parking. Lots of shade trees. Good walking trail.

Most of the renovations done to the court and picnic area are better. The playground and basketball hoop are in a safer area away from the parking cars and trees. The tennis court now looks brand new. The old playground space is now a quiet picnic area. The gravel walk/exercise path could use a fresh layer put down. Or else something like rubber to make it easier or those on bikes. I'm not sure if some of those exercise bars are safe to use, so we don't bother. (They've been there at least 22 years). Overall it is very pleasant and private, and adds a lot to the community.

Great place to take small & big kids, teens and adults. Walking/jogging trail, swings, playground, tennis and basketball with restrooms. You can even take your canoe or kayak to the park. Everyone is usually friendly.
