JA Ramen - Ramen restaurant in Tucson - 2643 N Campbell Ave, USA

I had high expectations for this place the restaurant was a little stuffy warm .. you get quite a lot of ramen in a big bowl. I didn't like the broth it was too thick too my liking I think cuz they add breaded fried chicken cutlets and breaded fried pork. It's was different I wish I could say it was good flavor wise I had to add a lot of sriracha and soy sauce to try to give it flavor. This place It's not for me...

Both the miso and tonkatsu ramen were on point. After living in Japan, good ramen is not easy to find. The curry on the other hand was subpar. It tasted watery and grainy. It's probably the premade cube or powder kind. Good japanese Curry should be thick and smooth like gravy. I recommend trying the ramen but I'd skip the curry. Staff were great and the place had the feel of a Japanese ramen shop!

Great little ramen and curry joint on Campbell. Quick service, fresh ingredients and delicious rice and curry. Don’t miss the shumai. And beer available! Score.

Manager on duty tonight was AWESOME! And the workers were great too! He recommended the chicken katsu ramen and it was 🔥, sooo good! Great food, great atmosphere. They even played the happy birthday song for my friends when they heard us singing happy birthday! Support local! Go check them out 😊

Delicious food and an amazing list of choices. I wish somewhere inside that sushi is only on the weekends. They had a sign on a pole I was quite confused. Still great ramen and I enjoyed this place with my friends very much. I will be returning again soon.

It’s good! I recommend the chicken Katsu udon. The broth was the best part of that dish! My companions weren’t as thrilled with their ramen dishes but I was satisfied and I probably come back. I also ordered dumplings and the dipping sauce was really delicious. The curry was spicy. If you don’t care for spicy food, a 5 might burn your taste buds off.

Loved it when it was only Ramen and now they do curry?! I was absolutely pleased with my meal. Got the 1 for spice as I am not a spice fan. Just the smallest amount of heat, was perfect. I would fight a large animal for more of the takoyaki. Absolutely delicious. 10/10 my favorite menu item.

I have been to JA Ramen a few times now. And each experience has been wonderful. The staff are very friendly and willing to work with any restrictions. The atmosphere is always pleasant with a homey feeling. As someone who frequents alone to try new foods. I have felt more at home with the people I shared in this space than anywhere else. The food is very good and seasoned well. It is also prepared quickly, losing no quality to convenience. I highly recommend trying JA Ramen by yourself, family, or as a date!
