Very disappointed. I had scallops which were tough. Were seated near front window for light. Rest of restaurant was dimly lit. My wife and I had eaten there several years ago and found it much cleaner and service and food much better.

The food here is absolutely amazing! They make everything in house, and you get a lot of food for your money. It's a family owned restaurant and everyone is so friendly!! The best restaurant around in my opinion! ♥️♥️

Portions were large. I've been here twice in 5 years. I like salt, but they use too much. Waitress was very nice. Old decor.

I got the ziti with meat sauce and it was vary good. They had HUGE portions, I could barely eat half of my meal. Overall it was excellent and I would go there a again.

Massive subs great price fresh bread

I love this restaurant, have been coming for over 20 years. The interior is dated but comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and the food is excellent & reasonably priced. There's a separate bar area as well, I like to have a cocktail while picking up a hot dinner to go. My favorite dishes are the hot open face roast beef or turkey dinner, the gravy they make is like your Grandma would make! Very good meatloaf, and the pizza, grinders, and salads are also great. Oh, and def try the beef barley soup if its available!

I make sure that I stop in at least one time EVERY time I travel to CT fro Michigan! I will be in town next month and I absolutely cannot wait to have my steak and cheese grinder! It’s by far the very best out of anywhere I’ve ever had one! See yas soon JRB’s!!!
