This park is packed with kids after school hours. It's great for kids who love a busy park. There are water features activated by 2 button timers. There is also a large turf in the back for football/soccer, which often has after-school sessions regularly. There are many nannies and regulars that live in the park slope area. There is a gated baby play area near the Stonehouse. The Stonehouse often helps host birthday parties and performers who use the park space throughout the year. Parents can feel safe since this park is in a very child friendly neighborhood.
A wonderful urban oasis for kids and adults, delighting with a sense of history and magnificence. There is a lovely water fountain in the center of the park, providing cool water splashes during sweltering summer days. There are swings, jumble gyms, and an artificial lawn area. The most famous structure is the Old Stone House building which has been beautifully restored and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There are also many smaller garden areas with metal tables and chairs. The Farm Garden is absolutely beautiful and provides a wonderful experience for everyone interested in learning about how to grow vegetables, berries and flowers. A true gem.
Great place for panic and kids and family to enjoy the nature and learn the history of the old stone house museum free.
A great place for kids in all ages. Allot of trees with lots of shade for parents. Nice with water area for hot days.
Arguably the best playground in park slope, it has the most features and kids to play with to keep your child happy.
Along with the Old Stone House, JJ Byrne provides an anchoring Third Place for central Park Slope. A great place for kids and parents to make and maintain friendships!
Sweet medium-sized city park that has been creatively landscaped with stones and greenery. Lots of interesting structures to climb on, plenty of space to run around. Wish I still had little kids to take here! Will have to make due with the nephews... 🙂
Excellent space for kids of all ages. Lots of shade, garden paths, play spaces, sprinklers when it's warm, small child playgrounds and big kid gyms. I love bringing my daughter here.
Perfect park to relax or take a walk. There also are play areas for kids and adults. Great views of the NYC skyline and waterway. This time of year is a bit chilly so bring a sweater or light jacket. Restrooms are across the street in the park but no
Lovely new playground with climbing areas for toddlers and older kids. It has several water sprays for splashing in. There are drinking water fountains but no washrooms. It can be loud when a train rumbles overhead. The best part is that it's entirel

What a great addition to the neighborhood! I've visited a few times and I love the cocktails, the ambiance, and the friendly bartenders. And the food, too, especially the appetizers!

I just reached my one year anniversary at UMA and couldn't be more happy/proud. The core philosophy to "Be Unlimited" is in the name of the school and they practice what they preach. I thought it seemed ambitious to offer so many different martial ar

I must say up front: besides my own impressions after enjoying this place myself, I also know the owner very well. Although, this fact only helps this review, giving a full picture. The reason behind it is that I know what the owner's values are. Amo
