I was staying there. Paying early every week and the nun that works in the office kicked us out randomly because we had a babysitter while we were at work. So she wouldn't even wait for us to get back from work she made the babysitter and our child leave. So when we got off of work we were left homeless.

I'm not saying this is a 4 star hotel. I'm saying for the money compared to the competition it's a good quality. Mrs Dana is a good person who goes the extra mile to help you

So the new owners, what can I say. It's a mature married couple, the husband is friendly, welcoming, and can't help but feel like he's someone's favorite uncle. But that wife of his...she is a mean old bird! Rude, insulting, just mean spirited. I've been here many times but after the way she spoke to me and my bf, I would sleep in my car before I stay there ever again. I do NOT recommend ANYONE patron this motel. I wouldn't have left 1 star, but Google requires 1 star at minimum.

Was there 7 days on first night I was there was in a ok looking room but was moved out in 3 minutes to a different room that was dirty was disrespected when I asked if I could have it cleaned or if there is a room service to have it cleaned was told have to clean it yourself or you can check out wouldn't give me a new room or full refund was overall very bad stay wouldn't recommend it for anyone you pay 350 a week for no service

This place is not very good, their electrical keeps going out. Been In 2 rooms and the electric keeps going out and they are accusing my son.

Under new management. Most reviews were made when it was called the Sunset hotel. Sister Dana Marie has turned the place around under the new name of JC Huffman motor lodge and motel. Very clean rooms and the management is very caring and driven to give you the best relaxing experience Oberlin Ohio has to offer.

Its supposed to be staffed 10 to 10.. Its not. I was there at 9::30 and nobody there. Missed place my key. Went to get spare. Nobody there. Had to sleep in my pickup trk. Got down to 50*'s that night. No jacket, no phone, no emergency phone numbers. Couldn't get to my heart medications. Still got charged.. 😣???..

They have small rooms, and cottages. Cottages cost more and don't have bathtubs which the regular rooms do. All rooms have TV microwave and fridge. No ice machine. Can smoke in some rooms. Most are a single bed, think they have one or two rooms with 2 beds. Typical 70s style motel that hasn't been massively renovated.
