GREAT FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE. Came here for lunch and ordered different appetizers, and was very impressed with the service and the food. The winery has indoor and outdoor seating, and was not crowded at all. Everything is clean and spaced out so you can enjoy your own space. Kudos to the crew running the place, too. The host was quick to greet and seat us, the waitress was quick to get our order in and kept our drinks topped off, and we never had to ask for assistance. DEFINITELY will be back, and will recommend this place to family and friends. MY FOOD REVIEW: The Pork Belly Tacos are delicious. There’s only 3 and they could be the perfect portion for a single person. The Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza was the best plate we ordered. The crust is thin and perfect, and the topping are super fresh. Fantastic flavor. The Wagyu Beef Carpaccio was very… different. It’s a small dish of wagyu beef strips marinating in an EXTREMELY flavorful sauce. It’s not enough portion for a meal, but definitely a good add-on if you’d like some amazing flavor with your dinner.

Treated like Royalty here. First, the wine tasting experience was so pleasant. The wine was good, the atmosphere was calm, but not pretentious, and the staff were all genuinely (or at least it sure seemed that way) enjoying their jobs. Dinner starts at 4:00, our wine tasting ended at about 3:45... so we stayed for dinner. But first appetizers. The best bacon wrapped dates, seriously.. order them! Also ordered the shrimp/cream sauce (don't remember the name) which was also perfect. Now dinner- I had the "Pasta of the Moment". Salmon, capers, cream sauce, homemade spaghetti noodles... Melt in your mouth, and oh so good! My wife had a salad, and we added the Kobe beef. Slightest of seasoning (like what you'd get from cooking in a seasoned cast iron skillet), and the exact right degree of rare. After dinner our waitress (McKenzie, and she was perfect too) told us about the Chai cheese cake with espresso whip cream. Yup, ordered it! McKenzie made some fresh and fantastic coffee to go with it .. and it capped off the experience perfectly! The patio is beautiful and spacious, the view is great, and the entirety of the experience hit the mark 100%. We will definitely be back! You need to go here, you need to try it.. truly one of my favorite dining experiences of the last 5 years.

We went here for dinner with friends and did not even order wine. I did have a beer. The menu is upscale with Waygu beef, etc., so expect to spend real money here. Burgers are $17. I had a Tenpin Snake Eye Stout and it was good. My wife ordered the Smoked Gouda Burger, which she liked. I had the Snake River Wagyu Bavette Steak and added a Caesar Salad. The salad was great, the steak was very good. We had dessert, an Apple Galette and Double Chocolate Pots de Creme. The Galette was very good, while the Pots de Creme was more like a chocolate mousse with 3 blueberries and was a bit disappointing. Service was uneven, which was sad for such an upscale place. Expectations are high at a place with these prices so having some of the food be only 3 star and the service only 3 star was a disappointment.

Bookwalter is one of my favorite restaurants in the Tri-Cities. They have a great selection of items on the menu. Chefs create daily versions of tacos, pizza, and pasta featuring seasonal ingredients. If you are in the mood for an appetizer, the Avocado Fries are amazing! Unlike other wineries, Bookwalter has a well stocked bar and can easily make your favorite libation.

J.Bookwalter on wine row is a great place to sit back and celebrate life. The staff are always welcoming. The food is fresh and tasty. The service is usually good. The few times that it has been slow, the server comp'd a drink without me asking. They often have live music which adds to the experience. I will definitely be back.

This is zow za zowza place with fine dining and winery attached to the establishment. I'm way out of my league or comfort zone with this level of food and wine. For appetizers we got the Avocado fries, Popcorn chicken, and the Apple wood smoked bacon wrapped dates. Chicken was prepared with pickled peppers, garlic and some sort of sauce "black pepper aioli”. The Thai chicken pizza had nice flavors with nuts sriracha and cilantro. Overall, the party members were very happy, from the children to the sophisticated connoisseurs. Yummy yummy

Amazing wine and great ambiance. Eric was knowledgeable and worked with us to find our favorite wines! Definitely a repeat spot!

Every meal I have had here has been excellent with the avocado fries being my go-to appetizer. The steak tacos are delicious. They were out of veggie burgers, so the chef whipped up a tasty dish for my vegan friend. The wine is excellent as well, if you’re into bold reds. You could tell our server was new but very sweet and attentive.

What a lovely place! It was warm and we were able to enjoy the outdoor patio. Appreciated that they had some light food offerings, the pretzel bites are a winner! Being able to choose the wine flight for tasting was a plus. Our server was super fri

I need to share with you what I saw last night at yellow belt testing by Master Roach. It's important. Three minutes late a little girl rushed in on the verge of tears, probably because she was late, but that isn't all, she was a white belt arriving
