J & J Fish and Chicken - Fried chicken takeaway in Calumet Park - 12648 S Paulina St, USA

I tried large grilled chicken salad. It wasn't very large at all. The depth of the container was super thin. They use a head of lettuce so some of the pieces were super big. The chicken is separate in aluminum foil, cut up, so it probably was 1 breast. I will say it was seasoned well. I don't think I will go back even though it's walking distance. When I called, I asked the guy about chicken specials, and he stated what we have is on the menu. Clearly, I couldn't see the menu. He didn't care that Im new to the area. That joker said you'll see when you get here.

I ordered their 20-piece mixed chicken and tenders, and the lemon pepper seasoning was spot-on, enhancing the already crispy and perfectly fried chicken. This was my spot for the longest but recently I went in and got 10 wings and a cheesecake for $23. Tony’s down the street gave me a pan of wings for $19.99. The math wasn’t mathing

Ordered 20 wings on 12/30/23. Wings tasted like they were made in day old grease. Fish was cooked ok but no seasoning at all.

Food high I get it, it's downtown but at least make my money worth it. Gyro doesn't really have enough meat or the Italian beef but will give you a lot of French fries.

I bought the 5 legs for a reasonable price. I likw thwir salads which you order cut up chicken in them. They come in large to.

Horrible the worst JJs I've ever been to in my life and the food is over priced the skin and bone drug addict looking lady was so ride in disrespectful I ordered the wing and catfish combo and they have me perch instead of catfish
