This place has the BEST banana crepes ever! The service was excellent! I can't believe I have lived in El Cajon my entire adult life and haven't eaten here until now. I highly recommend this place. Food is good, prices are reasonable and the service was excellent.

It’s a quaint little place for breakfast. The lunch menu and dinner menu look pretty awesome as well.
My breakfast came out hot and looked very good. The taste matched the good looks and was very flavorful. Nothing was burnt or over cooked. I will definitely come back for breakfast and will consider it for lunch or dinner as well.

This place is about as solid as it gets. One compliant I do have is third biscuts and gravy has changed. It used to taste very homemade and had a great sausage flavor. Brisket is some of the best around. Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch.
This is a diner style place with diner decor like license plates, movie and TV pictures, and road/car signs & pictures. We went for breakfast but they also have smokehouse menu for later. Good variety of menu items, large portions and reasonable prices. Food was very good and used fresh items. The zucchini muffin my son in law received was even warmed up! The staff is mostly young men who are courteous and attentative, they got a big tip. Definitely a return place on future visits.

This is our second time eating breakfast at IZZY’s and this time only me am sick to my stomach with chills,stomach pains. Last time was about 1 1/2 months ago. Then my husband was ill…..today only me I had stake and eggs with hash browns. And the waitress was nice with she had a accent but she wood come to close to us. We are sorry but we are letting you know because it might be the eggs only I had eggs and last time my husband was the one that had eggs. Your food is good but no one likes to be sick when you are out and about shopping.

Good food. Huge portions. You can problably share. Excellent service even when they are busy. I will go again and I recommend this place. Older cafe style with character.

A homestlye diner with oldies nostalgia and background music with a plethora of good homecoming meal choices from breakfast omelettes to pork chop dinners.
Closes at 2 PM. I arrived on a Saturday at 1245 PM and was not rushed.

As a pet parent to 3 cats and a dog this was absolutely heaven for me. So many different brands of high quality foods and toppers and so much raw variety! Both ladies were super friendly and so helpful! Definitely coming back!
Beautiful venue with auditorium style seating. Didn't even know this place existed! Lots of conversation stands with pretty quick moving lines, even on a full night.
