Wow talking about people that don’t care. They don’t try to help and everything takes weeks to do. I have helped other and still remember when I went to college. I helped someone go to KCTCS(Owensboro tech) college this year it took us one day to get student ID and sign up for classes. I helped another go to ivy tech been there 2 times they said it be 2-3 weeks before they could sign up for class it’s already been a week still no student ID. I tryied to get them to change their mind no one at this school cares they take 2-3 hour lunch breaks and never pick up the phone. I would be ashamed if i was dean to run something so poorly.
This is the place I started out at with high hopes, but I wasn't going nowhere. When I asked if other institutions was like them, they said, "No other colleges will want you." I tried another college and they was happy to have me! Not only did they support me along the way, but they gave me a free laptop, and connections to help me today. Now, I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management WITHOUT Ivy Techs Help!
Words can't even describe how accommodating this place has been to me. Never been more excited about my future and this is coming from the heart
My daughter is with-drawing from class (automotive) there. Tired of being harassed by other students and the teacher stands up for them! Bye!
I can’t say enough good things! I graduated nearly a year ago, and I drastically prefer my experience at Ivy Tech compared to other local colleges. The stigma surrounding community college is garbage! Ivy Tech makes it simple to get started on the path to achieve your goals. Amazing faculty and professors that will really work with you and give you the resources to succeed. A ton of awesome student activities and freebies. And, it’s AFFORDABLE! The campus is nice, and the library is fantastic. I have seriously thought about returning for additional certificates or degrees. If you are on the fence, GO FOR IT!!
I love my school and it feels great to be back. They really care about their students and are taking All of the necessary precautions to keep us all safe. I was nervous about coming back and being around people during covid, but after today, and seeing the steps they've taken to keep everything clean and Sanitized, I feel so much better now. Ready to rock out this semester!! This school truly focuses on the success of their students. I highly recommend everyone to attend whether its for general studies, or to recieve a degree. Ivy Life!! I feel i will be recieving a great nursing education through this school!
Very impressive building and atmosphere. My visits don't involve education, but always involve business and working with various people that have earned my RESPECT. I always feel welcome and look forward to future visits.
For a community college, this school is impressive. There are a variety of classes and degrees offered, and *for the most part* some pretty excellent teachers. I have found that there are some teachers that either decide they are working in a non-traditional environment so that they are extremely lax to a detriment and in other courses teachers forget completely that they are dealing with many non-traditional students who often times work full time and have children. This school is an important place though for the community, and more people should take advantage of the inexpensive credit hours and opportunities it affords them.
I began Orangetheory about seven months ago, and it is the best decision I have ever made! The staff and coaches are very friendly, motivating and truly care about your well-being, and the type of workout/experience you get from the moment you walk i
I wanted comfortable shoes for my arthritic feet. It can be debilitating. Ryan met me at the door and worked his magic. He had me stand on a type of scale and it created a map of my feet including arch height, length, etc. He disappeared to find my
