Ivy Lodge Bed and Breakfast - Bed & breakfast in Newport - 12 Clay St, USA

Perfect place to stay in Newport. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by Wes who was welcoming and informative about the Lodge and surrounding area. The bed was comfortable and the room was charming. Breakfast was delicious. Coffee, teas, and a variety of juices,water, and drinks available 24/7 in dining room. Homemade chocolate chip cookies too. We were there for a wedding in Boston and decided to stay on and visit Newport and the mansions. This B and B is in a great location. Highly recommend.

Very nice lodge, very clean with excellent breakfast and 24 hour coffee and tea with desserts. We had a fireplace in our room as well. Two nice sitting rooms as well to enjoy a drink and dessert. Very close to mansions. We stayed in the Satterly Suite which has a smaller connecting room. My only complaint is that there is a step up to get to the smaller room which I didn't see and tripped over hurting my right knee. Hopefully this will be addressed by the owner. Otherwise wonderful stay.

My wife and I stayed here in September of 2023 and were extremely pleased with Ivy Lodge. The architecture, room decor and furnishings are Newport gem. The inn keeper was extremely professional and friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we checked in. We highly suggest this inn and the “Turret room” if available.

The Ivy lodge was a great find for a weekend getaway. It is conveniently located near the mansions and the harbor. There was also a free bus that was easy to pick up near the Ivy Lodge as well. Staff was very friendly. The room was extremely clean. The bed was comfortable. The only thing we didn’t like was the water pressure in the shower. There was plenty of hot water. The breakfast each morning was hot and tasty. The Inn provided snack and beverage. It was so nice to make a hot cup of tea to end each night. Highly recommend the Ivy Lodge!!!!!

What a gorgeous Inn & property is a hidden gem of a location! Delicious breakfast & snacks to get us on our way . Close walk to the Cliff Walk , The Mansions & Shops! The Inns-keepers were very friendly & helpful with recommendations. We can’t wait to visit again !

I've been to the IVY Lodge many times over the years and I keep going back! Each room is so unique, cozy, super clean and comfortable. The owners and staff are professional, accommodating and friendly. The wrap around porch/deck is so peaceful, great place to have coffee and read or just listen to the birds and look at the flowers. Every morning breakfast is unique and he Alve Regina entrance to the stairs, 5 min walk, check out the cliff walk. There so much to do near by, whether one walks, rents the electric bike or drives. Great restaurants. IVY Lodge is also very peaceful and very well maintained. I'll continue to go!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ivy Lodge. Jacqui, Wes, and Alex were all so welcoming and friendly, and the house is stunning and well kept. Our room was comfortable and clean, the breakfasts were delicious, and the porch was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the surroundings. We didn’t want to leave, and we will definitely be back!

What a lovely inn. It is removed from the harbor hubbub, but just a few blocks from the Cliffwalk and an easy 20 minute stroll to the downtown area, with all the restaurant and shops. Our second floor rooms were charmingly decorated and immaculate, and Jacqi and her sons most accommodating. We would not think of staying anyplace else in Newport.
