Been a Ivars customer since the 1970s. I like their style of fried fish, clam strips too as they are cornmeal battered vs beer batter so they are less greasy. My go to is pictured. Sometimes I’ll splurge and add chowder to my order. Glad for the Issaquah location as it’s not too far from home.
Awesome fresh, full of flavor, crisp, delicious food. Excellent customer service. Clean spacious place. Enjoyable food to the last bite, tasty fries. Friendly young casheirs. Nice manager. Good atmosphere.
Highly recommend this place
Love Ivars but they have started giving fish sticks instead of actual fish pieces. For the price of $17 for a 5 piece I was expecting more value for my money. Also super strange that they’re starting to ask now if you want fries, like how is it fish and chips without the fries.
It’s the perfect place to get your seafood fix and you can order on the phone or you can even dine in. It’s open seating and a casual place to grab a bite to eat. I usually get their Salmon Chowder and Fish and Chips which are made to order super fresh and delicious. They also offer plenty of condiments to choose from with garlic vinegar, tartar sauce, cocktail sauce and hot sauces. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
Pro Tip: Order the Full Boat special which comes with 10 pieces of fish, 2 cups of chowder, coleslaw and french fries. You will save money instead of buying individual items.
Clean restaurant/ very friendly crew. Came out on 7/8/23 ( want to acknowledge the guys working that night) Service was fast. You can usually tell how good they are by how many people are waiting on food. I usually go to the one on Coulon Park but summer time can get crazy. Might be worth the drive to come out to Issaquah. Thanks guys.
The Navy veteran who greeted us and took our order was so helpful. You can tell he really cares about people's happiness. The food was hot and fresh, and the service was excellent.
Fresh & Delicious! I am so happy I choose this establishment today. The Cajun shrimp and Alaskan Cod were amazing & fresh! Didn’t leave disappointed. The staff is super friendly & helpful! Thank You for awesome customer service!
Low key PNW seafood eatery in Issaquah. I used to go to the Ivar's Seafood bar at Northlake for the $12 Friday salmon dinner specials and have fond memories of Ivar -- this location doesn't disappoint!
Their employees are very friendly with a service-first attitude. There was a lady (manager?) who remembers the eat-in patrons' orders despite a busy dinnertime evening, and goes around making sure everyone has a great experience.
The tartar sauce (especially sweet tartar) is out of this world. Portion sizes are on the small size, but the food is really fresh & tasty, and I think their pricing is reasonable. Hot tip: their fried clams pairs exquisitely well with salad.
Another Ivar's fav spot. Quick checkout, friendly staff and food is fresh as always at Ivar.
Our favorites are Fish Tacos, Fish Sandwich , Grilled Salmon plate with grilled salmon, wild rice and delicious corn bread & Clam Chowder.
The Halibut plate was good but the Halibut was a smaller peice than a salmon plate dinner

It was a bit hot inside but manageable. They can install portable AC during summer. However, service, food and ambience were all great. I can see this as a good hang out place for colleagues after work. I will definitely return.
Dined in. Had tasty fish & chips. Very nice battered true cod. Good sized portion. Fries were goodâcrispy outside, fluffy inside. The slaw was a nice counterpointâslightly vinegary. The tropical iced tea was also very goodâeven unsweetened.
