I rarely post reviews, but, I must say that this is absolutely the most fantasticly delicious Greek food I have tasted in the 7 years I've lived in Tucson. I am so happy I decided to give yet another Greek restaurant a chance. The gyro was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth and really satisfied a craving I've had for years now. If you haven't tried it, you need to. I am very happy to say I have now found the only Greek restaurant in Tucson that I'll ever eat at again. Why, oh why, must it be so far from my home?
Reservations are a must. Small, quaint, family establishment. Excellent service, excellent food. The perfect place to taste Greece in Tucson.
Delicious food in a nicely decorated atmosphere. Great vegetarian dishes. The felafel was light and amazing. I also enjoyed the lamb Arniopita. Popular place--make a reservation, although we didn't and it worked fine for two people. Yummiest!
Third time here, this time take out. had a craving that had to be dealt with. Greek salad with all the right stuff - romaine, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, cucumber, onion, feta, pepperoncini. I think the dressing could be bumped up with a few more herbs but still, satisfying and delicious. And the lovely falafel! Everyone makes falafel differently - these are big, light, and so delicious. Great little place in Catalina. Don’t hesitate.
Do not miss the ceiling decor! Best greek food I've had since another independent & authentic restaurant in Nevada. Love the dolmas and tzatziki, the vegetarian moussaka, the lamb & beef gyro, the rice pudding... going to try some other stuff next week. My mother isn't very adventurous, but she was thrilled with the new flavors but says do be aware of the pepperoncini. Do also be aware the portions are larger than some greek restaurants. (But they have nice to-go containers, and we enjoyed everything just as much the next day.) Service was a bit slow... well, with the current shortage of labor, that's not surprising. And everything made as fresh as possible. And prices very reasonable. Please visit them soon and keep them in business!
Needing to have a light lunch we decided to try this spot due to the proximity to the Golden Goose Thrift store. It was fantastic. The Meze Platter was so fresh and obviously homemade that we were exceptionally impressed. Will definitely be going for a full experience in the near future.
Hidden gem in Catalina. Food is great, service is great, overall a wonderful experience. Support local businesses like this!
This is an update to my review 4 months ago, but much shorter. This is a great restaurant and still a go-to place for us. The food quality is excellent, the service is not just excellent, but I'd go as far as saying it's warm, yes, warm, the ambiance is excellent (quiet, you can have a conversation, I like the wall art), and the value is great - not just the food, but a reasonably priced wine list with a good selection. We are treated so well here (I'd say like family but it may be better than some families treat each other, ha!). Mezze platter can't be missed. Falafel is the best I've had; fresh, warm pita, great cheeses (not just feta) and olives. Just eat here. ____________________________________________________________ Wow. Can’t believe we live so close and hadn’t tried It’s Greek To Me until now, but very happy with our first experience! First of all, yes, you DO need to make a reservation. Stop trying to walk in because there aren’t all that many tables so it’s just a good idea to make a reservation to be sure. Depending on how busy it is, if you walk in, you may need to wait a couple of minutes because the hostess is also the server. We had Marissa and she was FANTASTIC! I mean, she does it all! She’s seating people from the host station, she’s taking orders, bringing food out from the kitchen, serving drinks, and she’s able to keep up! She’s also very personable and pleasant, and that really helps you enjoy the dining experience. The ambiance is nice, too, it’s got linen tablecloths, the seats are very comfortable, the tables are spaced out well, you can have a nice quiet conversation, and on top of the excellent service, the food was EXCELLENT! On top of THAT, they have PLENTY of gluten-free options. There are several restaurants in the area that offer gluten-free options, but honestly, in terms of the variety, It’s Greek To Me has them all beat. I mean, for heaven’s sake, even the falafel is gluten-free! And gluten-free or NOT, it’s DELICIOUS! And the portion sizes here are quite large. We ordered the mezzo platter as an appetizer, and it came with PLENTY of nice fresh, warm pita bread (which was delicious, by the way, it’s never the star of the show for these appetizer platters but don’t sleep on the pita here, it’s really quite good!), along with a few dolmas (great!), cubes of feta (excellent, legit feta, not the stuff you buy in the grocery store), nice briny olives (green and black/kalamata), another type of cheese I didn’t recognize but was excellent, tahini, and hummus. Not one of those elements was off the mark. And there are plenty of other great looking appetizers (like the Saganaki). Vegetables are even fresh and delicious (tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, all great)! Falafel was spiced just right. I mean, we’re old and not that spice tolerant but this falafel was really flavorful, and it was not dried out on the inside, and crispy on the outside. AND it’s gluten-free? Get out of here! (And vegetarian for those who need that option). The menu has plenty to choose from. Which is great because I can see us coming here on a regular basis. Because I also forgot to mention a very nice reasonably priced wine list, and a delicious set of desserts (they were out of the rice pudding on our visit but man, that chocolate cake was memorable as well - usually those GF chocolate cake desserts are like a brick, but this was actually light and fluffy, and not overly sweet, and the accompanying whipped cream was great!). Great ambiance, service, wine list, and food, including gluten-free and vegetarian options? You CANNOT go wrong here. We’ll be back.

Whatever kind of "-vore" you are, you will not be disappointed...these are some of the best pastries I've ever had! I was fortunate to stumble upon this place while visiting from out of town. I had a lovely chat with one of the owners who talked me
ADORABLE shop, lots of cute stationery, cards, and stickers. They do fun crafty events and this would be a great spot to create a trendy gift basket for a friend for any occasion!
Had a wonderful time with friends! The staff were friendly and helpful with instruction and staying engaged with our group. Facility was clean and organized. Having the option of throwing axes or throwing stars was neat! Will definitely come back.

Everything was very good. The cashier lady was very friendly. She explained that they make their biscuits there and their French fries as well. My breakfast sandwich was really good. But let me tell you the chocolate chip cookies! They are the best!
It was an excellent experience from the warm welcome to the fond farewell. Our room was cozy, clean, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfast was flavorful and served near an inviting fireplace with soft background music. The ambiance was perfect for a
