ITH San Diego Beach Bungalow Surf Hostel - Hostel in San Diego - 707 Reed Ave, USA

The place is very well located. Great for surfing and spending time at the beach. The commun areas are nice and it’s easy to connect with other people. The rooms are not what the pictures show. It’s very dirty, I had a lot of sand on my bed when I arrived. The only shower for our room was discussing and didn’t work well. The toilets got blocked easily. I would still say it’s a great place for surfing and making friends.

The bunks bed were shaky. The bar area is next to dorms so wear earplugs Awesome location No parking, but we were able to park close for free. I did not sleep well because of the noise and shaky beds even with earplugs. I canceled my reservation halfway through my stay because there was a really noisy person in my room. On the second night, in the middle of the night, I was able to change room because of the noisy person.

What an amazing hostel truly a life changing spot. The people the location the vibes it doesn’t get better than this. I got to be a volunteer here and have never seen a more inclusive and welcoming environment. Yes there is sand in places but that’s because you are only a couple steps from the beach. If you want to make life long friends and have a comfortable place to stay this is the spot !

A very special place indeed. Perfect location. Always something interesting happening and it is very easy to make friends. The staff are all cool. A nice man staying here caught a tuna and shared it with everyone for free (some Japanese boys showed us how to make Sushi with it). I highly recommend!

Great time staying here. Excellent location, right on the beach and next door to a fun stand up bar. Alex helped check me in a provided lots of information on local hot spots and eatery. The balcony was really fun and had a great time mingling with the visitors. Thanks to Alex & team for helping my stay :)

I loved this place, the vibe is amazing, if you are expecting a 5 start hotel it wouldn’t be the best place for you BUT if your looking for an UNFORGETTABLE experience, meeting people from all around the world, partying and feel welcome DONT DOUBT ABOUT IT and STAY HERE I really recommend this place!! It’s worth it in all ways. You have also to understand that they are in front of the beach so it’s sandy and definitely not for kids either old people I will come back for sure, thanks to the staff

I'll start by saying i think I'm traumatized by how much a hostel can look nice on pictures, good in points and in reality be ... up. I really mean it, it was all around dirt in the private room with bathroom. The bathroom curtains to bed sheets had dirt that come off when you touch it. The windows were never cleaned for a year, they werent properly closing so the room was always taking wind. There was a weird second old not used anymore door in the room, if you hit open it would open. The main door as well, has holes all around it not really trustworthy. Breakfast includes eggs, but where you cook to where you eat is all black and crusty, sticky. It was terrible terrible and disgusting. The reception girl was not helping at all. The hostel costs same as a hotel for these, dont take it.

Everyone with high vibes and intentional on bringing good energy when all together! The Staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I can't say enough good things about these wonderful people! Fantastic Location!!!!! I'm going Back!
