Well this hotel is cheap and no to far away from Long Beach. and LA. Very Clean No to many rooms.. the maids make the room every two days clean towels the bed and the shower.. thing's..small fridge and microwave. This is when your budget is low.. ..very nice..Motel.☺😊
Owners are absolutely nice and accommodating, due to allergies I cannot use Wall heating cooling units. When asked for an extra pillow and blanket. I got it, I will gladly return to this quite spot.
I stayed and the Islander motel twice in 2003 and both visits were great. Its a great price and gets the job done. Its not a 4 star place but its not a 2 either. If your looking for somewhere great to stay and your on a budget and want to be on the beach then this is the place to go.
I enjoyed my stay very much. I should point out that I didn't physically stay. I went there in my mind whilst listening to Tim Buckley's song from the 1969 'Happy Sad' album 'Love from Room 109 at the Islander (Pacific Coast Highway)'. And WHAT a song.
Spacious rooms, refrigerator. the TV is small with limited number of channels-very disappointing. The WiFi is hit and miss. I have a WiFi booster so that helps. The pillows are uncomfortable and cheap. There were no prostitutes, drug dealers, pimps beating hookers, screaming or anything... boring!! But safe if you have kids or just want a quiet place this works.
Terrible customer service, the manager is nasty. Was made wait at checkout while they check the room for damage. Clean rooms, decent pool. Overpriced, I'd go for something else in Santa Cruz.
nice and clean love the floor and tge good customer service the only thing i wanted was a microwave it did have refrigerator that was good will came came back for sure 👍

There is this amazing worker here. Vanessa is her name. She is beyond amazing. She has helped myself and my children many times. My little ones played there making slime to events in their gym. Always a great welcoming crew.
Tend to go early mornings, my daughter enjoys the newly built playground, she to play around with out a worry also my dog is able to run freely with out people being around. (I got a rottweiler)
I went here to get some tea, and I honestly thought I wasn't going to get much when I was at the store looking through their menu. For god's sake they put chocolate under green tea and a green tea blend under oolong. Not to say much of their menu are
I love that at this location I can order sandwiches gluten-free and nightshade-free (no tomato or ketchup) and that's what I receive, Yay! Always nice and professional.
