Island Quizine Restaurant & Catering - Takeout restaurant in Windsor Mill - 8128 Liberty Rd, USA

This is hands down my favorite Caribbean food restaurant. I’ve eaten here so many times over the years and the food rarely if ever disappoints but today’s lunch special was not what I’m used to. I stopped in and grabbed some Chicken Reggae Pasta. The dish was fresh but the sauce was super white and wasn’t seasoned the way I am used to. I was able to add to it once I got home and it was freshly made, so I did end up enjoying my lunch. This spot has got some good and hearty authentic meals. It’s still my fav. Their Cajun salmon is my favorite dish.

Celebrated a friend's B/Day here. Had never heard of the spot but when I say we were pleasantly Surprised, I mean PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!!! I'd give everything a 10-star if I could. The food.. Service.. Atmosphere.. LOVED IT!!! I had the Chilean Sea Bass! 😍 OMG. My wife had the "something" Shrimp (can't remember the whole name). I helped crush that too. The Bar/Bartenders and the drinks were top notch! Even through I had never heard of this spot, they've gained a raving fan. WE'LL BE BACK FA-SURE!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Owner (Donovan) and staff (Morgan was our server) of this establishment were all very accommodating. Customer service was a 10! Food was awesome too. Great vibes, makes you feel like you’re on an island in the middle of winter with the rum punch and the great music. Would recommend to anyone who wants to experience the dine in service. Sunday Brunch is awesome as well!

Food felt down home Kingston style cooking. Atmosphere is end to end attention to detail high-end layout. Oxtail, jerk chicken and the Blue Hole...yes yes and thank you🎯bringing my girls my time

To the catering staff at Island Quizine… a huge thanks for the absolutely delicious, well prepared and just simply excellent food!! The vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers were all extremely happy with the fabulous variety provided. Parking situation is the worst on weekend nights or busy times. It's limited and getting in and out can be a pain. Sometimes it so hectic inside you may get sub par customer service but everyone is still friendly. If you do grubhub or doordash the menu is not full and you cannot customize platteries as easy (for example choosing rice and peas as your option instead of yellow or white rice) Even putting the request in notes doesnt work...so thats kindve annoying. Pictured: Curry Chicken and Pasta Plus + Friend Plantains. Both great tasting dishes and the Jerk chicken platter is also a good choice. Beef Patty's are always on point. They give you plenty of food, like 5 thighs in the Curry Chicken. You can also request white meat (chicken breast) instead.

The food is consistently good between the various stores. A little less spicy than I like but nonetheless tasty. The store is laid out in a confusing manner. There are separate counters for ordering and picking up and it was not easily discernible which counter is which. And the pick up counter is not immediately apparent when entering the business. The atmosphere in both this and the Woodlawn store is utilitarian but the stores are very clean and in good repair. Overall, a satisfactory experience. The staff seemed somewhat stressed which is also what I noticed at the Woodlawn store. I hope that the owner is able to help the employees to have a better work-life balance and to feel safe and supported so that they can enjoy their time at Island Quizine.
