Great little park in the heart of Ann Arbor. Beautiful foliage in the fall with a lot of moving water to view. It's a nice little slice of nature to escape the hustle and hustle of the city. There is a building there that is just described as a shelter. While it's a beautiful building, it seems sort of odd and out of place for the park but maybe there is more history to it than I know.
It is very nice, with lots of Native plants, and few invasives. The paved path makes walking easy for people with disabilities. There are various places to look into the passing streams, shallows, wherein one can see frogs, snakes, and small fish, as well as relatively tame squirrels and dozens of bird species. It creates a lovely, intimate wedding venue at the far tip, with a small shelter that has columns.
Beautiful park.
The day I went there were at least 3 big events happening.
Huge play structure.
Plenty of places to sit.
Bathrooms.
Free parking.
Please bring mosquito spray bc this is a park surrounded by water.
Nice walking trails. There is a bridge that leads to an enclosed soccer field. The bridge needs some work. It appears to be pretty old. However, I'm a bit heavier and I could feel the bridge just shaking and making all kinds of noise as I walked across.
Great place to chill.
Plenty of people walking their dogs.
Everyone seemed friendly.
Very clean area. Perfect place to park kayaks at and enjoy the view of the river. Only downfall is that there are quite a few homeless people. I wouldn't recommend going solo. Some were not pleasant looking.
Nice starting point for kayaking. 1hr Kayaking to the Gallup Park. Parking is convenient relative to the Gallup park.
To fully enjoy the Park you must take the foot bridge to the other side. No vehicles allowed over there. Plenty of parking upon entry. Handicapped spots as well. It's a family oriented place that's well kept. The Park can be enjoyed by all. After reading a couple reviews posted by others, homeless persons were mentioned however this was not apparent on my visit. ✌
We went to Island Park for a wedding shower. It is a very nice park with lots of trees, water, picnic tables in the water and on land. Play equipment and three shelters are available for rent.
Very pretty , peaceful stopping spot. I come here year round. Bathrooms are open for the season. There is a lot to do here , playground for the kids. I have seen many weddings .professional photos are routinely taken here. Multiple pavilions. One is classical style of white marble look. You can reserve pavilions for special occasions. Spring is huge for graduation cookouts. I enjoy spending time here.
Very lovely park! I love the community garden and the beautiful flowers. Walking areas are not all paved so it was hard with the stroller. It has restrooms and children park. It also has picnic areas with grills. Looking forward to going here again.
This place was nothing short of amazing. It was my first time, and while I wasn't prepared for the hilly hike, I enjoyed it thoroughly.
So many awesome things to see too! Huge variety of mushrooms, wooly aphids, and so many birds and critters!

This is, hands down my favorite park to visit.
Very clean, well maintained. Places for kids to play as well as a lot of beautiful gardens.
Year round this park is a regular spot to enjoy nature. 10/10!
Took advantage of the BEAUTIFUL weather today and investigated this park, as well as the Argo Nature Area and it was amazing. Very clean, well maintained trails, lots of bathrooms. The fall leaves are super beautiful, I saw some hawks flying and othe
This park is so peaceful and well maintained. I will say I took a picture of the map and I still got myself off trail by accident. The trail started out looking very much like a trail in my defence. Beautiful, only saw a few other people braving the
Broadway Park in Ann Arbor is my go-to spot for outdoor relaxation and recreation. The park features multiple well-maintained spaces for dogs to run freely and socialize. Highly recommend for a day out with your furry friend!
Always enjoy it here.
My first time watching a music performance at this park.
It was a great set up!
It has restrooms. A pavilion for a dry picnic. Playset for the little people too!
Jess B. was so incredibly helpful and patient with me, because I had a lot of questions. She made sure that I got to try several different shoes so that I could pick which one was best for me. She is so incredibly knowledgeable about the running worl
I am very happy with my decision to go to Orangetheory. The workouts are super challenging and I feel like I really achieve fitness goals in the way the workouts are structured. It never feels boring because it's different every time. It's fun switch
