I brought my kids here today, they had alot of fun exploring, this seems to be a very well maintained park. The park has two parking lots, walking paths, a creek, restrooms and with the Willamette River right along the park. This is also a great park to have a picnic at, has great tree cover.
Have gone to a few different parks in Eugene. Island park was the best experience we had. We mostly care about seeing birds and ducks. It has lots of area for relaxing and theres all the basic park necessities from what I can tell. I get really annoyed with the boxelder bugs but they're at every park I guess and it wasn't as bad as others. Go see some waterfowl! And don't feed them bread or cheetos please 🫠 saw some people doing that.
Island Park is located in downtown Springfield, accessible via C or D Streets, offering a respite in the center of town. It's next to the river, has wide paved path, short dirt birding trail, a couple of parking lots, 2 boat landings, playground for kids, bathrooms, benches, picnic tables, mural painted on the bridge legs. You can hear the traffic over Main St. bridge. When I went in May, the river was overflowing & 1 of parking lots & bird trail were flooded. It's dry now. Saw a couple of fishermen in the water. Pros: close to Willamette river & downtown, bathrooms, parking, birds. Cons: no long walking trail, near traffic.
This park will always be a favorite of mine. This was the first place I went to when I moved here. It's a well rounded park for everyone. Boats, rafting, ducks, geese, playground, pavilion, bbq, BATHROOMS finally, bike path, benches, tables, picnic, lots of grass, nice walks, dogs! Shade, flowers, swim, fam pictures. Sometimes events... Parking good . Semi secluded . Fun, peaceful. 💕💕Good people, senior center too.
This is a nice park. It has a playground, restrooms, and tables. During the summer there is a lot of activities here. Live concerts, 4th of July activities and many more things. Great place to have a Birthday party. People have gotton married here. The parking is limited during certain activities like concerts and such, any other times it's usually sufficient. Families love to come here and play in the water. Lots of ducks and geese. During the springtime itis great for looking at all of their babies. A lot of people walk their dogs here. They need to be on a leash and cleaned up after them.
It was my 1st time to Island Park I was surprised because of what I could see from the bridge passing over the river, I didn't realise the park with much bigger. The park stretches along the river and has some really nice areas to sit and enjoy the view, lots of ducks around. The trees are starting to bloom and lots of white blossoms all over the grass.
Cool park ! Very pretty and lots of trees so you’ll find plenty of shade to sit and enjoy your day with family friends or just by yourself! There’s pretty ducks in a pond and so many beautiful butterflies 🦋 OR just sit by the water and enjoy the river :)
Nice park. awe came here as a put in to float the Willamette river in tubes.
What a beautiful new area to explore! The gravel path is fine for a stroller, and children under 10 were well worked and very tired! A mellow, uphill grade, made a nice walk through the forest a bit of a workout, but still not what I would call hard
Great place to visit. Many sports fields. Outdoor workout area nearby. Nice playground with a rock wall. Plenty of parking and it's easy to get to. Bathroom is available nearby. Pick up trash if you see it. Please don't litter. Respect for future gen
My kids love it, its clean doesnt seem to have any issues with unsavory people hanging around and alot of equipment for them to play on. No bathrooms that I've seen tho

I love this little park. It's well taken care of. When school is not in session, it is a great place to bring your dogs. Just remember to clean up after them
I really really enjoyed this spot. It is SUPER easy to walk upriver, with my 5 year old even! I am DEFINITELY going back here to go swimming in a spot we scoped out upriver that was deep, cold, clean & just awesome all around! There was even some spo
Great team, very welcoming! We stopped in for a day of training from out of town. As a woman having trained BJJ for nearly 8 years, itâs clear to me that this team creates a safe and friendly environment for everyone. Great sparring and high techni
When I first came to the pipe I didn't know what to expect. It's like that song about Danny boy, the pipe actually called to me. Never have I felt true bliss until my feet touched the rust covered base of this cosmic wonder. I've been enlightened by
I had an amazing time as always here. The pricing isn't too bad. The beds, including the pillows, are the most amazing thing I've slept on ever...LoL. The staff are super friendly and really should work in 5 star hotels with the service they provide.
I had a wonderful experience with a worker there named Hattie. She was very kind and had fast service, the drinks were phenomenal! I cannot wait to visit again and be served by this amazing teenager! She has wonderful customer service and treated me
an easy, relaxing paved trail along a river, perfect for if you're feeling despondent and need to refresh your perspective there are a few benches scattered throughout the path. a few face the river and provide a lovely view lots of trees are along
