Island Jiu-jitsu is a great place to train! No matter if you're a hobbyist, looking to become competitive, working on self defense, IJJ has you covered. The coaches and all of the other students are very encouraging and patient and the environment is very welcoming. I couldn't recommend this gym more!

This has been a life changing place for me. Coach Nick is a top level teacher and person; his passion for jujitsu has inspired me and many others to explode past their personal ceilings. The way he teaches makes it easy to learn and understand, he takes time for all students And has a great heart for others. All the coaches are amazing- (Gary, Vince, Eric- Ect) have helped me grow immensely and I am forever grateful for the opportunity to learn and roll with some amazing people. My son started at Island Jiu Jitsu in September 2020. Day one, I was extremely impressed with how they welcomed him into the group. It really helped calm his initial jitters, allowing him to focus on the techniques. All the coaches are awesome.. patient as they work the kids through each move. His confidence, discipline, and skill has improved a lot since then. I love watching my lil dude roll and we couldn’t be more happier with this gym

The coaches are great, they accept everyone at all skill levels, and there is a wide variety of offenses between them to learn from. Its a great family/team atmosphere

island Jiu Jitsu is a great gym, with a great family atmosphere. Nick Jones, the head instructor, really takes the time to give you the best technique possible, while helping you every step of the way. IJJ also has a great kids program. By far the best gym I've been to.🤙🤙
