Location isn't bad at all, especially those who seek the thrill of the State Fair.
Room 242 was mine, for 45 seconds or so.
The building is sitting around 85 degrees, in which was a great way to meet and greet. Opening the room with a card was pleasant, until the hotness of the hellish temperature smacks you in the face as you enter your room. As I turned on the light, I was greeted by a few members as it were my surprise birthday party. Little sucker's ran into the cracks and around the dark lit corners of the room. Those members were some lovely roaches that didn't want to wait to say hello.
My family and I said "nope" to the situation. It was a 45 second paid room for just under 90 U.S dollars. Company is making more money than those time share commercials, aren't they?
My boyfriend and I stayed here on 4/6/2024 because all other hotels were booked. First off if your local they charge $150 fee plus the money for your actual stay. We stayed in room 258. The rooms are so outdated. The tub you couldn't even shut the water off all way so it just drips all night. The beds are super uncomfortable. The tv didn't even want to work. And the worst part of it all is the room we stayed in had bed bugs! When we left in the morning we had bites all down our arms, shoulders and on our feet. Seriously for anyone's safety do NOT stay here! Absolutely avoid at all costs!
Positive: Location Negative: Dirty. Gross Stains on side of bed rm 126 and dirty walls and lampshades, changed us to a different room w/two bigger fridges, dirty carpet around fridge, questionable dirt vs mold, rm 259. Dirty lampshades, dated.hot in hall, a/c said check filter. .
This place is dated, dirty, worn down, and gross. Multiple lightbulbs burnt out which I'm sure housekeeping would have known about. Sink was slow to drain. Moldy curtains. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. The air conditioning unit leaked so I'm sure that meant the room below mine had water damage and mold. The window didn't fully close. Stains everywhere. They have signs everywhere that say "no smoking" but it definitely smells like people still smoke. They claim they have an 8.0 rating but that was from 2015. The only good thing about this hotel is their location. The smoke detector was off the wall and on top of the refrigerator. Can't they be fined for that? I have to imagine any positive review is coming from someone attempting to boost the overall rating of this place because there is no way someone could stay here and give it a positive review.
If you want a cheap room, with front door access, this place works to stay .. not a fancy top of the line place. Comfy, clean, and it's totally doable!
This place is a disgusting rat hole. Highly recommend choosing a different place. I stayed for 11 days but didn’t have options because all of the hotels were booked due to some event happening. There were cockroaches and tons of flies in the rooms. Black mold on appliances, walls, and even a towel. My coworker had to change rooms due to people being WAY too loud on the floor above me. Come to find out it’s the manager/owner that lives above. Our rooms weren’t cleaned after a week of staying there and ended up getting cleaned only one time in the 11 days that we stayed after we asked them multiple times if they could do it. When they cleaned the one time they stole my bright blue towel that I had to buy because the hotel didn’t provide services to clean or change towels (I did get the towel back after the guy working told me he thought the towel belonged to the hotel even though all of theirs were white in exception to the towel in my room that had black mold in it). The rooms themselves don’t look as if they have ever been cleaned from the dirty carpet to the stains all over the furniture and bed. The smell was a mixture of mildew and B.O. that lingers. At the end of our stay we were charged more than what we were told we would be paying and when we contacted the hotel they said they would not be giving our money back. The employees there could not provide any information on who owned the business or even who managed it. They all are apparently “new” and couldn’t provide any information for weeks until one of the employees gave us the number to the supposed owner who told us he wasn’t giving our money back. This motel is disgusting and they steal your money. We are in the process of reporting them on all levels from the police to the county to the state. Choose somewhere better to stay.
Edit: owner replies saying I wanted the refund on my card and not my bosses card- you’re a liar. You said I wasn’t going to get a refund and that you were going to sue me for defamation (laughable). You’re a dirty lying thief and I’m going to make sure people know
The hotel is old and run down, but the price is a great value. Be prepared for old dirty carpet and out-dated furniture and decor, but the atmosphere is quiet and relatively safe. Service is non-existent and rarely was the front office even open, most often is was locked with note taped to the front door to call if you had an issue.
This place was absolutely disgusting! We stepped into a room full of filth all over the floor, it had not been vacuumed in quite some time. There was mood growing inside of the AC that was not even secure in the window. Dead flies on the tables. Ripped furniture. Public hair in the bed...all of this was told to the owner, pictures were shown, and even with all of that, they refused our refund. The room cost wasn't insane, almost $100, but we couldn't stay so we were owed a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE!

I am from out of state, and I stopped in on Tuesday evening 1/16/24 for some frozen yogurt. The yogurt was delicious. I ended up with popcorn too. Lots of flavors to choose from!! The young lady who helped me was very helpful and extremely pleasa
Good, smaller sized coffee shop. They have a line of booths, with lots of plugs to charge your electronics. There's a corner with some coustioned chairs, but no plugs there. My latte was very good. The woman who took my order was nice.
After years of wanting to surprise my wife with a hot tub, I finally purchased one from Deterdings Grand Island about a month ago and couldn't be happier. Dusty was great to work with and was able to answer all my questions throughout the process. T
