What a wonderful gem! I booked this hotel on a whim, last minute after reading the great reviews and needless to say I was not disappointed. The level of service from a family run hotel and the staff was excellent. Chairs, umbrellas, and towels are provided for the beach which was such a nice touch. The rooms were extremely spacious with such a high attention to detail from the recessed ceiling lights, walls behind the beds, and the kitchenette. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Remington Beach is away from the hubub (and expensive parking) of Clearwater... but the sunsets are just as good! Island House Resort is just across the road from the beach so strolling to watch the sunset takes... 40 seconds. |The resort has recently been totally refurbished to a high quality. Coffee and candy is available in the lobby and the staff are delightful.|The room is clean with good-quality mattresses and bedding. Our room (28) also boasts a well-equipped kitchen area, clothes closet and a nice clean bathroom. The resort centres around a pool where there are ample sunbeds and sitting areas. Guests are friendly and happy to chat. Nights are quiet and peaceful.|This hotel is a family-owned gem so check it out before spending big bucks on a national chain. Chill and enjoy beachtime!|

Overall Great Experience. From the moment we walked into the lobby we felt welcome. The room was very clean and you could tell it had been updated. Right across from the beach with easy access. They even had chairs and umbrellas you could borrow. It is a hidden Gem and I almost didnt want to tell anyone about it and keep it to ourselves. You wont be disappointed.

We stayed at Island House when in town for a wedding. Very easy beach access across the street. Diane and Kelly went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, whether it was beach chairs & towels, hair dryer, or restaurant recommendations. Oh, and they have chocolate candy at the desk! I found little touches throughout my stay of their thoughtfulness. And be sure to check out the color-changing water in the pool (night-time only)! ;-)

This place was great! Reasonably priced comfy rooms, great pool and grill area, and all kinds of "in case you forgot" amenities, from corkscrews to beach chairs. The owners are super pleasant to talk to. If our travels take us back to the area, we will absolutely be back!

Very comfortable place to stay. My husband and I have stayed here several years and even brought friends last year. The staff are excellent. Welcoming. Housekeeping..superb..my husband sleeps days and the housekeeping are always helpful with supplies. Great place to stay..I'd recommend to anyone.

This place was perfect for us. Super cute, great rooms, kind staff, and they had everything we needed, even down to a wine key! If we ever come back this is where we will stay.

Everything about this family own resort is perfect!! Every one is very welcoming and ready to help with anything. kid friendly, they have toys you can borrow for the beach to include beach towels, chairs, umbrellas and even life vest for little ones. Rooms have a small kitchen, fridge and electric stove. There is a coffee maker and toaster, actually the kitchen comes equipped. Our room was very well cleaned and the beds were very comfortable. Pool hours are great!! Oh and there are two grills that you can rent out by specific time frames. The resort has near by beach access literally right across the street. The location is great; breakfast restaurants within walking distance as well and lunch and dinner places. We will definitely return. Thank you for your wonderful service and attention!
