This place went downhill since new management took over. We stayed in the same room as last year and noticed a significant decrease in cleanliness and service. The bathroom had black mold growing on the floor and shower, we found hair ties, contacts and a can of seltzer on the floor. Prices have significantly increased since last year. We paid 25% more this year and booked through Expedia to get that rate. It would have been close to 40% increase if we booked through the front desk. Last year Mark was incredible, he was friendly, greeted us multiple times during the stay, and had top notch service. This time our rooms were not serviced and we used the same 3 towels the whole stay. Didn’t see management much at all. The location is ideal but for the increased rate and decreased cleanliness/service, we won’t be returning.

However, the beds and pillows to our liking could use some improvement, as they were less desirable compared to the other aspects of the motel. Despite this minor drawback, the overall experience at the Island Breeze Motel was a positive one. I would return but will bring my own pillow.

So happy we found this place. We brought our dog so he could use Wildwood’s dog park & beach. The room was very clean, sheets were good and each bed had 3 pillows. You’re definitely close to the action of the boardwalk and walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. The pool is absolutely beautiful. 9 ft deep and has floats and toys. Check in was super easy.

Booked the hotel along with a family member. We called ahead the day after we booked the room. to make sure we would be next to each other. The manager agreed. We got there and that was not the case. We were only next to each other for a day then had to move to another room. The room we were previously in did not have anyone in it for two day. Talk to the staff they did not try to fix the problem at all. We found two pills in the room on the floor as we have a small toddler we went to the front desk the owner blew us off when we told him. There was trash underneath the bed. Our room was NOT serviced everyday. The towels were left outside on a chair everyday. There were people on the 3rd floor smoking weed. Online it says 24 hour front desk service and that is not the case. I defiantly do not recommend this place. It’s sad the old owner was so nice. We will not be returning.

Great place to stay with my dog, just feet away from the boardwalk, very clean and low priced. I did request 1st floor accommodations and when I arrived my room was on the 3rd floor. 32 steps to get up with no elevator but it was a last minute reservation request so no complaints here. Bonus is the pool is open late and parking is free

We were happy that it was a hotel pet friendly and the location was perfect did like the service rooms are a little outdated but clean the pool is nice the only I would say is the fridge was not working we add and ice to the freezer and it melt the food down the regular fridge was not cold at all the rest was okay we forgot to mentioned it downstairs at check out so they can check what is wrong with the fridge. The rest was all good I got a second floor room which was at the corner of the stairs no one came that way we could sit in the night and watch the view. I would definitely come back did like it and the beach is only a little walk. The weekend I was it was Father's weekend there was at the beach to many young kids but it was all good. We had fun. 100% recommended Also want to the mention the Lady that did the heck in she was very courteous and welcoming.

We stayed for 5 days and as we were leaving my two teenage daughters said this was the best vacation we ever went on. The location is perfect right at all the fun. The rooms are clean and beds comfy. They have 4 grills around the pool. We loved it so much we are already booking again for later in the summer.

My family and I stayed here last year and had a wonderful time the owner was amazing and very hospitable. When showing up this year I was taken back by new ownership. The check in process was a hassle, new owner was not nice or accommodating. Even with a request 2 rooms next to each other because of my elderly mother and her new manager confirming we would have our request. We didn’t get our request and were on 2 different floors in the annex building. The new owner blamed the old owner for over booking and proceeded to tell me she would refund us and we could stay somewhere else and that was the best they could for us. She also didn’t feel the need to advise guests of new ownership. After driving 3 hrs and BCMF event weekend it was impossible for us to stay anywhere else especially with a pet. Our room smelled like weed the entire time, beds were hard and we left early getting refunded for the last night but then realized we were overcharged for our stay anyway. Barely any staff onsite the whole time. Unfortunately we will not stay here again.
