Loved visiting the Island Beach State Park. It was so beautiful and the staff was so kind. Everything is very well kept. It’s cool to see so many untouched sand dunes. The only thing I recommend is BRING BUG SPRAY. We forgot but besides that everything was AMAZING!

Great state park near Seaside Heights New Jersey. Two great bathing beach’s with showers and Bathrooms. Pristine view of the ocean with no housing. Great for biking, walking and fishing. No entrance fee today

Very nice place. Great waves, relatively clean bathrooms, and the moon is beautiful at night. I gave it 4 stars because sometimes there are little bugs that bite you, but I didn’t have a problem with them this time.

Makes you feel like you’re not in Jersey for a bit. Beautiful beach that is well maintained and the water here is almost clear! You can always find a spot to park yourself, even though the beach can get quite busy. It helps to always double check that it’s not filled to capacity before making the trip. That usually happens in the late morning and they are back open in the afternoon. They have two swimming beaches, and both have restrooms and a snack bar nearby. Fun place for the family!

Love this beach. It's not crowded as the others. It has a beautiful scene and it's a nice place to relax with your family during summer.

It holds a special place in my heart. Every night after work head down to the Bay and watch the sunset. Stunning! It seems like they're under staffed always. Garbage can be seen in bushes, parking lot, and in the dunes ☹️ Bathrooms are pretty filthy I miss the days when it was just locals as we took better care of IBSP

Really enjoyed my visit to this remote park. Once you pass all the kitsch in the seaside towns and make your way into the park the splendor is right before you. Saw two foxes (sadly they were acting as if they wanted/expected food, meaning humans are feeding them which is no good) but the dunes and the beach were amazing. Did some beach combing and found a ton of outstanding shells. Well worth the drive!

I’ve loved coming to this park my entire life but today I had a terrible experience there. 25 cars got towed including mine for parking in a “nonspot” when the lines in the parking lot are faded to almost nonexistence. The cop who told me my car was towed said the whole situation was unfair and that he has been trying to get them to repaint the lines for months. Can whoever is in charge of the parking lot please repaint to make these lines visible. Many people unfairly had to spend 100s of dollars in towing fees and deal with the headache of it all. This simply could have been solved if the lot was properly maintained.

First time staying at this motel and I'm so glad it came up in my suggestions! It was clean(so very important to me!) , very pleasant and friendly staff. We loved the pool and the beach entrance was directly across the street. Couldn't ask for more

We have been vacationing in Lavallette for years. This bakery is a must stop first thing when we arrive and a last stop for baked goods on our way out. The atmosphere is good and the products are amazing. Onion rolls, bagels and especially the Pecan

The entire bay is awesome. Every now and then you have to go to the other side and look across the bay at your own place.

So happy we spent our last dinner in seaside at Bum Roger’s! The live music was great and the bar was filled with listeners. We decided to play it safe and go for the snow crab legs, but they had options for local crabs and Dungeness as well. We tr

It doesn't look like much when you approach, but don't judge a book by its cover. I absolutely devoured my blackened tuna!!!! My wife enjoyed her teriyaki salmon. Crab cakes were good! I highly recommend this place 👌
