Upon arriving at the Isla Grand Beach Resort, you are immense in the pure beauty of the hotel. The hotel is an older hotel, as you can tell by the interior and decor that is throughout the hotel area. I was immediately greeted upon my arrival, which is a huge plus as it shows they care about their guests. Upon arriving at my room, the room was clean and well set up. I was a bit disappointed as there was no microwave in the room. My room had a patio facing towards the two pools the hotel has. The pillows were small, but since I had two beds, I was able to get comfortable. My second night there, I was greeted by ants. I'm not a fan of ants, and I did let the front desk know. After arriving back to my room later that day, the ants seemed to have multiple. Talked to the front desk, and after our conversation, I was moved to another room. The second room was clean and very similar to the original room I had. I liked that the hotel had its own access to the beach. Simple walk, and you're there viewing the ocean and able to get in. When I got into the beach water, it was fresh and warm. After the beach adventure, I went into their "heated pool." The pool water was definitely colder than the ocean water. The first pool they had, that watter appeared to be much warmer than their heated pool. In the heated pool, there were missing tiles along the pool and cracks. Didn't stay long in the pool. The hotel does have two bars located inside, a gift shop, and a pool side bar. I didn't use any, so I can not comment on the bars. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and the friendly staff helped out so much. I definitely want to go again, but this time, instead of doing a business trip, do it as a personal trip. I love the brick path the hotel has outside to get to the rooms.
Our stay was amazing. We ate at the restaurant and our waitress did an amazing job. The food was excellent. We drank at both bars the craft bar's drinks were delicious. The ravioli at the 2nd floor bar was super good. I totally recommended this resort. It was our 2nd time there and we had a blast both times.
My wife and I stayed here last Saturday and Sunday, nice hotel....yes it is an older hotel but they seem to take care of things, our room was nice and we had a view of pool area. Nice having a Starbuck on-site. We ate at the restaurant one afternoon food was good and drinks were cheaper that we thought. Had a nice view of the pool from our window table. We would stay here again.
Arrived January 27,2024. Wanted to escape bad weather up north for the weekend. Found out the pools are not heated and hot tubs are Luke warm. The staff are super friendly and the service including the one open restaurant are very good. The location is right on the beach and it is walkable to town.
One of the best experiences of my life. I was able to book a room and the entire staff from top to bottom took the best care of me and my family. This was the first NYE I've spent here and the staff here shot it out of the park. I would come here over and over again!||I would 120% recommend this place!
Do not be fooled by the pricing offered on any of the booking sites, the front desk will charge you an extra $29 for "amenities". As described by the front desk clerk, "amenities" were wifi, restaurant, etc....... Disappointing, as I don't mind paying the amount, but it should shown upfront as opposed to sneaking in fees after the fact. Anyway, highly disappointed as this has never been done before.
We were there with friends to celebrate our 23rd anniversary and life in general. The rooms were great and location to the beach was ideal. But I must really give a shout out to Raphael who works the bar by the swimming pools. He is on top of everything! Friendly, courteous, helpful and extremely knowledgeable on drink options!!! He truly made our stay there fantastic!!!
The rooms are very run down. You are asked to wear a wrist band to prove that you are a guest while two homeless men were sleeping near our room. The bathroom was not acceptable. The bathtub looked very dirty, the faucet almost came out of the wall while turning on the shower. We had a power outage and was without power for hours. The entire so called resort smelled of sewage. I would not waste my money here again. It is definitely not worth the cost. I have stayed at Motel 6 that were much nicer than this place. Don't accept the pool towel cards. They will charge you 25.00 for each if you don't turn them in. I'm not even how they call this place a resort. It's a run down motel at best.

We stayed our 1st night in a much older Comfort Inn. Woke up to Roaches crawling in the bed, on the walls, and all over the toilet paper!! We left!! We relocated to a brand new Comfort Inn, and everything was wonderful!!
We have eaten at the Palmâs Cafe for many years and love it because it is on the gulf side with a beach entrance right. This made it so nice to walk out of my hotel room and stroll down the beach for awhile. Front desk customers service upon arriva
Took us on a super short notice, like literally the same day at like 1am. Guy was pretty cool. Rooms are mid at best but hey for a quick night to sleep on short notice, who can complain you know? Overall alright. Thanks for taking us!
Absolutely love it here! Jorge is the BEST bartender. He makes it an awesome experience- best DJ ever. No doubt youâll have fun here. We played volleyball and had drinks on the patio. So awesome.
We stayed in the suite. Very nice to have separate room for the grandparents. Hot breakfast, pool (with pool towels and restrooms nearby), comfortable beds, coffee available - even when requested late night. Friendly staff... from the reservation (fo
Went in for Christmas present and was pleasantly surprised by both the selection and the customer service. Rachel and Ashton helped my find a anklet that was just what I was looking for. Would go here again if looking for a present.
Amazing place to visit with kids. $10 for adults and kids under 4 are free so thatâs a huge bonus. Plus thereâs so much to see from large snakes, gators, and of course birds. We will go back!
When I don't feel like driving anywhere and want to walk to the beach, this access is the closest for me. There isn't much parking here but there are benches and a place to rinse off.
Entrance is by the convention center with plenty of parking. At the entrance is a small but nice park and restrooms. The walkways to the bay have informative signage and wide paths with railings. Some sections are covered and have seating for taking
Gonna Gonna Wanna Wanna go back! Fun to relax, sip a beverage or two... meet people. Just don't go during July 4th! Too hot & crowded. Food is nothing to brag about. Nicer on cooler weather!
I had the Buffalo Chicken Sammich. Large piece of chicken, sauced just right with all the fixins. I opted for tater tots as my side and was not disappointed. Our waitress was wonderful. We even have a bit of a bonding moment over manners. Wait time
This is an amazing park. The website has most of the information needed to plan a visit and reviews below about purchasing family packs and bringing your own food are very helpful. I wanted to write about how accessible it is for visitors who need wh
