We had my mom's memorial in the Boxcar room. Everything was fabulous. 17 adults and 8 children and not one of us found anything that we would have changed. We had "family style buffet" with the broasted chicken and the tenderloin tips. Both delicious! The sides were excellent along with the Cesar salad. We needed 2 vegetarian meals that were delivered at the perfect time and looked very appealing. It was a pleasure to work with Julie. She and the staff made sure we had everything we wanted. The updates they made to the inside and outside of the building are beautiful! I was thanked by my family for finding the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Atmosphere, staff, drinks, and food we're very good. Great vibe except for the rushed meal. We sat down, ordered our drinks, told the server we were not in a rush, and put in the order. Next thing we know, food shows up. We like to enjoy our drinks, meals, and atmoshere without being rushed. Small favor to ask when we're paying $100 plus for two.

I was here for the New Years buffet. It was awesome! The prime rib was so tender I cut it with a bitter knife and very tasty. The jumbo breaded shrimp was perfect. The broasted chicken was very moist and tasty. The salad bar was a nice size. The green beans were perfect. Plus there was too much food for me to try. I will be back!

We arrived about 4:45 for a 5:15 reservation, asked if we wanted to be seated right away, we said we wanted to have a drink at the bar while we waited for the rest of our guests. We definitely felt on a time crunch, at 5:15 we were taken to our table. We waited 10-15 min for our waitress to come ask to refresh drinks. Food arrived pretty quickly and everything was prepared well. As the kids (4 year olds) were finishing their meals we were asked if we could “please move to a table in the bar” so our table could be used. We replied “we haven’t even gotten our bill”. We were quickly given our bill and asked to move. We had the kids finish quickly and went to pay. Kids were offered candy and were given dirty looks when they took 2 treats. Meals were good, but the way we were treated was off putting.

Well I moved up here from Chicago and after trying IRON RIDGE prime rib, ribeye steaks they are great. Nice place to have a great dinner with friend and family. I love going there for the relaxed atmosphere

The food was great, but they advertised a Saturday night special (Jumbo shrimp and Perch) for $24 and the perch were literally 2 tiny fish sticks, basically. It tasted great, just was surprised at the very small portions. Was not expecting a lot of food knowing seafood is usually pay more for less quantity, but this “Saturday night special” was absolutely not worth the price. Wish I would’ve done the breasted chicken for $16, a ton of food for good price. Overall, great restaurant and I’d love to experience it again next time we are in Wisconsin.

Excellent food and environment. Everyone was very friendly and we were well served. It's a bit pricey, bit you're paying for quality food. We got the buffet and they definitely did a great job with it.

Exceptionally good food. Salad was fresh, Tenderloin was the best ever; so tender, flavorful, and done exactly as ordered. Baked potato - even the skin was tasty. Great service. Excellent Old Fashioned. Go here; you'll be glad you did! Gluten-free options are numerous.
