Buy your tickets in advance because of the capacity. If you like quiet relaxing time, recommend going in the morning. The night crowd is more boisterous including a guest playing their own music. Locker rooms were very nice and they had plastic bags for swimsuits after. The pools being varied temperatures made it such an enjoyable experience since we stayed a lot longer because we could easily warm up or cool down if needed. The mixed drinks came in iron mountain branded aluminum solos which were meant to be recycled but honestly were a fun silly souvenir. If you get the all day pass re-entry is super easy with wrist bands. Amazing winter get away spot.
I went at 7:25pm on a snowy cold night and it was magical. I tried every pool in the general area and stayed until 10pm. The price for general entry was worth it. It was busy, but not crowded and getting checked in was very efficient. Kudos to the front desk. I brought a robe and wished I had brought crocks or similar. My feet got cold standing to order drinks. They are doing what they can to keep ordering warm. My towel froze once, but I had a bag with me and if i kept it in there between soaks it was fine. They have a great selection of beverages and food at fair prices. Locker rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were so polite and informative. Other guests talked a lot. One pool was religious talk another environmental and another various hot springs around Colorado. I also was in tubs alone and found quiet. So there’’s variety, a diverse crowd, and some that clearly visit as a Friday night date spot. Other notable positives: how great the sound system is I loved hearing different music in different areas. I loved the pathways that must be heated to keep the snow off. I loved the river flowing by. The blue lit trees look magical in the snow and steam!! The big pool and hot tub with jets were also very nice. Quartz pool was my favorite. The only negative is the glaring reminder of Petco and other businesses across the way. Once some trees grow in and there’s break up that will help keep the sanctuary vibes high. Thank you for such a magical place. The care and attention that shows!
I cannot say enough about this place. It is just phenomenal! We spent most of our time in the 21 and over section. Each pool has different "healing" properties and there's even a cold plunging pool (55f). The temps of the pools range from 94-106F. The Japanese pool was my favorite. Some have loose river pebbles as the floor which is fantastic. We did not eat there but had drinks and they're decently priced. It was 27F when we were there but you really didn't feel it at all. Will definitely go back in the winter when there's snow on the mountains.
Wow...this place was Amazing! So clean. The food and drinks were really yummy. Loved that there was a 21 and over section. John served us on the non 21 and over side and he was an absolute delight. The cold plunge was refreshing. And the shower/bathrooms were so clean and fully stocked. Can't wait to go back!
WORTH THE TRIP! I highly recommend the adult only section, the pools are bigger and provide you with more information on the benefits of each hot spring. Additionally there is a bar for that section and bathrooms. Would recommend only grabbing one of your towels when you first enter and grabbing your other towel when you are done. Brining a bathrobe would be a great idea and whatever shoes you bring make sure you’re okay with them getting wet. Also would be a good idea to bring your own water bottle! It can be very crowded around sunset. I wish they limited the access a little more.
A friend told us about Iron Mountain and we were so glad he did. My husband and I loved everything about this place! We arrived right at 9am and the parking lot was not full yet. Iron Mountain is so clean and from the moment we entered it was a spa-like experience for us. We purchased tickets in advance and chose the 9am-12pm package which was the perfect amount of time to enjoy all of the 10 world experience pools. We appreciated the 21 plus area, it was quiet and calm, relaxing. Though we did not eat at the cafe, the menu looked amazing and we saw several people enjoying their meals and cocktails. Bonus, they provided towels and had water stations. We will be back next time in Glenwood Springs!
Very nice relaxing hot springs. There are two options here a general area and the world pools. The world pools are is 21 and over only. If you can I would recommend doing the world pools. There were multiple other pools/springs based on the mineral content of other countries. And each one was unique with each pool have gravel bottoms. As a person that has a hard time relaxing and sitting still this was the only place I was able to. In the general side it was more crowded and each pool feels the same. Just a different temperature. What this place is missing is the ability to offer massages, that would bring this place up to top notch.
Today we went to Iron Mountain for the first time and we are SOLD! It's so wonderful! I would recommend - 1) book in advance 2) we are here in November - bring a robe or buy one of theirs, and bring footwear or buy slippers - cement can be cold! Okay - final advice, if youbare coming without kids, splurge for the pass for 21 and over pools! You enter a separate section and no kids, and you have that many more to pick from tonget away from over crowded pools. I love the set up - lots of different pools of varying temperature, some have rocks at the bottom - we loved that! Many are facing the river, right next to it. It's beautiful and relaxing! I can't wait to come back!

OMG! This hot spring is AMAZING! Probably the largest I have been. We love that itâs big enough to swim in and even have dedicated swim lanes. Naturally heated to 93 F, itâs perfect! And the hot 104F soaking pool with water jets lounge chair
We really enjoyed the hike! Beautiful- enough of a challenge, but not so difficult that someone that doesn't always hike can't do it. We hiked it in comfortable shoes, and jeans. My husband carried our 9 month old on his back just fine. We are fairl
These guys do a great job of stocking hard to find items for hunting, items I canât even find in ANY of the big box stores between Salt Lake City and Grand Junction. Itâs also great to support local, and if youâre bowhunter, they have an indoor
Perfect place for a stay in Glenwood Springs! Close to everything, also safe and quiet. Super cozy, but I can't say enough about the VIEW. We stayed in the Colorado suite and it was the best view to wake up to in the mornings. Make sure you stop by D

Great way to start an early birthday celebration! David was awesome and chose some shots for us that were so delicious. It's dog-friendly and you can bring in food from elsewhere. Love supporting our local craft distillers!
There r stairs that lead u down to water's edge .you still can see the action from above on Deveroux road .there r only a few parking spots . I ride my bicycle there. Sit on the rocks at the water's edge and watch the rafters and the surfers . YES I
Fantastic place for summer butterflies. See my photos. I was here once before, about 8 years ago. It's had a burn since then, but according to the patriarch of a local family I met on hike (and the scenery confirmed) it has recovered nicely. It is po
My favorite combination of low key and nice dinner. You canât go wrong with the short rib and the calamari. The specials are typically a strong item as well. Oh and also the chicken lollipops are great. Come as a family dinner or a nice dinner with
