Came in with our pup and we were welcomed as if we were neighbors. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The service was friendly and quick without feeling as if we were rushed. The food was delicious, we ordered the fish and chips as well as the buffalo chicken sandwich:FIRE came w/ curry fries and needless to say I was very happy. Feels like just our local watering hole in the middle of the big city. We'll definitely be back! Did I mention this place is dog friendly 🙂
During our visit to Irish Time in SF, we decided to follow our server's recommendation and ordered their Guinness in a glass. And let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! The server's advice was spot-on. We originally planned to order a pitcher of Guinness, but the server informed us that Guinness poured in a glass would provide a better taste experience. Trusting their expertise, we took their suggestion, and we're so glad we did. The Guinness in the glass was exceptionally smooth and flavorful. It surpassed our expectations, leaving us thoroughly impressed. In those establishments, the Guinness often had a bitter aftertaste. However, at Irish Time, the Guinness in the glass was a true delight, and it's no wonder they've perfected the pouring technique. Aside from the remarkable Guinness, Irish Time also offers a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The staff was attentive and helpful throughout our visit, contributing to a positive overall experience.
We did Alcatraz, hit City Lights Books, and then we needed a bathroom and a drink, in that order. We had planned to have dinner in Chinatown, but Irish Times stood out in a quick Google search and was within a 9 minute walk. We thought it would be a bathroom break and one adult beverage, but it turned into dinner. Food was very good, and the food and drinks were the most reasonably priced we had come across during our visit, but what stood out was the much overworked gentleman behind the bar who doubled as our server. The man was a gentle giant and very accommodating. He went above and beyond. Made me a fantastic Old Fashioned. Great find!
the service is very slow in the hall there are only two people working, we waited for the menu for about 15 minutes then the food came and we waited for the check for about 20 minutes and no one came up to us! in this restaurant, if you yourself don’t ask anyone, you will sit and wait .... no one offered us water initially and we had to wait for some time to catch the waiter and ask for water. they also don't have a drinks menu, or rather, it is on the wall ... on the positive side - they have a good bartender woman, she told us about the drinks and made them pretty quickly. Very tasty food and drinks that could not but please. As for the atmosphere, the hall and restroom are quite pleasantly decorated. the women's restroom was clean and decorated with beautiful paintings.
I’m giving this pub 5 stars even though I can’t comment on the food. I came to try the Guinness. The fact that it was a 2 part pour was impressive as have been in a few other bars in SF that didn’t do this. I took a little video of the pour. It you’re after a good Guinness in SF this should be your first port of call.
A nice bar with tons of chairs and space. The music was good. Service fast. It was only one person (host, waiter, bartender, cashier, etc) and he was amazing and fast, runs around the tables, and keep every table served happy. There are several TVs.
Irish pub in the heart of the financial district. Pretty good beer selection. Food wasn't horrible. Good place to watch the game. Big area can handle a crowd. Staff are on their game. If that's your vibe you'll enjoy it.
Just stopped by for a couple of beers. Nice place. Great atmosphere and service.

Great local Irish pub. The Guinness comes in true imperial pints and they go down real smooth so be careful. There's a pretty good mixed crowd here and it can occasionally get crowded on the weekends, during sports finals and st Patrick's day but is
Have been coming here forever. It's so good! Freddy behind the bar is awesome. This is the singularly BEST place to watch the game and grab a bite in North Beach. Food is terrific. Prices are reasonable for both food and cocktails. Best of all, they
HIT is not really my thing, nor is working out just for the sake of working out, but this team is rocking it. They've gotten me to come back more times than I thought I would and that's a credit to their energy and encouragement â¤ï¸ The team has c

The Neighborhood Tour with Lisa was so useful in our search for a home in SF. She listened to all our requests for the characteristics of the property we were looking for, as well as our preferred locations. We knew nothing of the city coming into th
