Ipanema Grille - Brazilian restaurant in Scranton - 1911 N Main Ave, USA

One of my favorites for entire region. SKIP the chain restaraunts, this is a family owned awesome dining experience. Service is exceptional and food is beyond expectations! Highly recommend the Rodizio! Served fresh and hot right off the grill, flavors abound!! The Sangria is a must! My favorite drink however is the Caipirinha!! We have been to this restaurant many times over the years and can honestly say we absolutely loved coming back!!

Amazing food. The guy who served the meats was great, cut good pieces and was quick to bring anything i requested. The server herself only brought my drinks to the table then never came back to check on anything. Overall it was a great time and will definitely be going back again.

Get the rodizio and caipirinha! They also have pitchers of sangria and some nice, must try, unique beers on draft. The salad bar has warm vegetables and a cold section with salads. I love the sweet, thin sliced dill pickles! Great for birthdays, and remember to go hungry! I loved the cayenne sirloin and rosemary lamb.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. I tried a Brazilian steakhouse while on vacation in another state and was looking for one locally when I found this place. Service was great, the buffet style bar with side dishes was decently stocked with a variety of items, and the Cheesy Brazilian rolls are always one of my favorites. I got the sangria thinking from the pricing that the carafe would be about 3 servings, but it was a full Lemonade pitcher! Definitely worth the money. If you're looking for a Brazilian steakhouse, definitely give this a try.

My grandmother loved coming here for the Tuesday sangria special. The night before her funeral my husband and I stopped in to get a pitcher in her honor. Our bartender was the sweetest woman and helped us with our grief in the moment. This place will treat you like family, it's truly a must do if you like good drinks and great food and the best staff.

Excellent food, fabulous desserts, friendly and attentive service! Better than the chains and well-worth the trip. Highly recommend.

Fantastic place for a Birthday meal. Not sure if they have a menu because we always get the all u can eat, 12 meats w/ salad bar. It's around 55 bucks, but is a great meal. They have meat servers that make their rounds to all the tables with hot off the skewers meat. When you need a break from the meats just flip the red/green wood block to Red. Flip it back to green & your back into the meat carousel. When your done with the meat they end your experience with a warm cinnamon dusted pineapple 🍍 sliced off the skewer. Please order a pitcher of their house sangria, just a glass will leave you wanting more. It's some of the best we've had. It is a very good place for dinner, so go hungry & enjoy the multiple meats.

I was in the mood for Brazilian bbq so decided to try this spot while out there for work. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked in and sat at the bar. Kaycie was my bartender/server. I started with the red sangria and it was tasty. For my meal I got the seafood paella. They gave me a salad first and it was good. When the paella came out it was huge. I dug in and it was very tasty. The only downfall was the clams were a bit rubbery. The scallops and shrimp were great though. The bill was about $50. All in all I had a good experience.
