Probably one of the best public course in the metro area. Great fairways and some challenging holes. Clubhouse attendees were a bit rude but besides that pretty solid golf course
Played Inver Wood recently- had a great time. Beautiful course with elevation changes. The course was in great shape and the staff was approachable and friendly.
Good quality course conditions. Tough skinny fairways. Overall challenging course. Practice range and putting green are top tier. Club house is above average. Lots of elevation on the back nine compared to the front.
A wonderfully designed, rolling hill course, in a rural setting, that is very well maintained. The greens are challenging but fair. They putt well although the speed could be increased a little. The fairways are nicely striped and framed with strategically placed sand traps and water hazards.
The full length practice range is just a few yards from the clubhouse and features grass and quality mat teeing areas. The grass on the tee area was a little too long the day I played. I didn't notice a practice sand trap however.
This is a course I could happily play every day. I strongly recommend it!
Beautiful and picturesque course. I got started in golf from here. It's quite a distance to get here if you live on the Minneapolis side. As for the course most players prefer to rent cart because of the challenging terrain. I took it as a challenge walking the full 18 holes. The only time I made the exception is on a 90+ summer day.
I have recently golfed at inverwood and was extremely disappointed. Apparently you have to pay for a rider not a cart. So a cart is 9$ and a rider is 9$ so two people on one cart is 18$. It is a very stupid rule and makes zero since. At any other course you pay for the cart not the riders.
The course is not very good. On the executive it is mostly very short par threes. The pin placement is awful, usually in the very front on the green or on the way left or right of the green. You are basically putting from the fairway. Literally because the greens are slower than Tom Brady’s 40 time. And the tee boxes are ripped up and not taken care of at all.
The staff act like this is the most precious golf course in Minnesota it absolutely is not. Most of the staff are nice people, but some are not. Most the time when you check in for your tee time the check in staff are rude and don’t really care about your experience. During your golf time the course marshal will hunt you down in between holes 6+7 and chew you out about some rule you didn’t follow. There was one employee who checked us in (not name dropping here) but he had a mullet and was in his 20s was extremely disrespectful and total took advantage of us. I would give this course a zero star in service.
Overall would not recommend this golf course. Because of the low quality of course treatment and some very rude and disrespectful staff members.
God bless America 🇺🇸
Fantastic course with great views on the back 9. Very well maintained greens and turf. Bunkers are well maintained and raked. Huge practice facility with a robust putting/chipping green. My only complaint is the pace of play, rounds can be 5+ hours. One of the best courses in the area!
Last time I checked this was a public course, but don't let that fool you, the rangers and guys in the clubhouse own this course. This is their course and they aren't there to serve you, they're just there to remind you what time you need to be off of the course they own.
PS Inver Wood Rangers & Staff, don't let someone book a 4:30pm tee time and rush them to be off at 7:53, the exact time the sun sets, and then remind them 7 times throughout 18 holes that they need to be off at that time. Was my first time golfing, and thanks to these guys, may never play the sport again. Thanks for crushing a kids dream

We visited Inver Grove Brewing for my Mom's birthday last night and had a great time. The beer list was fantastic, the food was delicious, and our server Greta was so kind, caring and knowledgeable. I can't wait to come back and try more food and d
Great trail all times of year. Lots of wildlife and different terrains. Trail goes behind some houses and near roads sometimes, so a lite noise. also the trail is shared with bicyclist and many bike-only trails are poorly marked, so take the earbuds
Great place for the kiddos on the weekends. Kid pool is clean and has a zero entrance. Safety break on Sunday mornings 1130am to 12pm, plan accordingly. Snacks allowed on pool deck. Tables and chairs available on pool deck. Water slides are fun but k
The overall look and feel was great. Everything appeared very clean, well-kept, and had an up-to-date appearance. The breakfast provided was a nice selection; hot items (scrambled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, waffles) as well as cold thin

Yummy Oreo shake drink. Nice staff. Been here multiple times in my life. I really love the vibe here. It took a little bit longer to get my drink, but that is not a problem. I get it, this place is popular and that is a good thing. I will be coming b
