Absolutely amazing. Tri tip sandwich was great with homemade horseradish and fries. They offered me malt vinegar. That was a first.
A great small town diner experience. Had the Trash Potatoes. Kind of open omelet or skillet with meats, tomatoes, onion, I opted for sausage gravy on top. Was excellent ! All ingredients were fresh. A friendly place and busy with lots of locals...always a good sign!
Loved the trash potatoes. The staff is friendly, kind, and attentive. My coffee mug never got below the halfway mark before our server came by to give it a warm-up. The place has a wonderfully cozy, hometown ambiance that can’t be beat. Would definitely stop again if I’m ever in the area.
Great Restaurant Better Food! On my way fishing 🎣 for the day with my Grandson Jaxson, I want to take him to a restaurant that wasn't fast food. I made sure we talked about Thomas Edison due to the restaurant's atmosphere with Edison pictures thru out. I had the Corned Beef Hash Plater ( my favorite ) w/egg's and wheat toast. Jaxson got the Cheese Burger 🍔 in paradise & Fries 🍟 Everything was fantastic! The service was awesome 👍
Was in there a few years ago. They had Abraham Lincoln's business card framed and hanging on the wall. I asked if that was REALLY Lincoln's actual business card. The waitress had no idea. So maybe it is, or maybe it isn't. Food was good. It's just your typical warm, friendly, small town diner that may or may not have a real cool authentic piece of 19th Century antebellum Americana hanging on the wall.
Nice little restaurant with good food. I had the fish sandwich. Hand-breaded with corn meal very good! Nice because it has copies of Edison's patents on the walls. Three or four blocks from Edison's house when he was a child.
My Florentine omelet was awesome! My sister had the western omelet and niece had berry French toast with ham. All of us absolutely loved our meal. They were busy but the service could not have been better! We will definitely go back soon.

I was in a group that had 6 pizzas ordered to Kalahari. Was told 5:30pm delivery but they were early by 10-15 minutes with delivery. They called 10 minutes ahead so we had time to get to the lobby. Driver was extremely nice and respectful. Loved
Absolutely loved this quaint little town. Driving through and stopped at the local âmelon festâ had some food and drinks and stumbled upon Thomas Edisonâs birthplace. Quite a bit of history the little Ohio town of Milan.
