InTown Suites Extended Stay Atlanta GA - Roswell/Alpharetta - Extended stay hotel in Roswell - 1175 Hembree Rd, USA

Recently stayed at the InTown Suites for the past 3 weeks, courtesy of North Fulton Homelessness Department and St. Vincent de Paul. While still trying after almost a year to find some affordable housing in a roommate situation on a pathetic Social Security Disability check, as my $850,000+++ inheritance was stolen in 2002 from a man from the Greek Church who manipulated my legally blind elderly 85 ,year old father, who also had the beginnings of dementia and did not know what he was signing. I would have been aware of this, however, I was a little distracted by the seven major surgeries I endured, and was having my breast amputated from breast cancer while this was going on. You know how those church people are. FYI, if you need the police to actually do their job in any county in this city, GOOD LUCK. THE POLICE ARE A JOKE, AND NOT A FUNNY ONE, I CAN ASSURE YOU. The amount of money people are asking for rent, a room, and even a roommate where you split half the bills, but can't bring your own furniture and have to pay a storage bill of close to $300 a month, in addition to rent is out of control, insane, and actually boils down to just pure greed. My short stay at the InTown Suites was very nice, only due to the kindness of the management and maintenance staff. Teresa, was very helpful every time I went up there and needed some assistance. The maintenance man resolved my requested problems immediately. I read some other reviews where people were bitching about them not providing toilet paper, paper towels etc. Had these people read the rules of the property and how they operated, that was given to them the minute they checked in, they would have known what this property offered and what it didn't. I've come to find out this past year, these Extended Stay hotels are actually homes now, long term homes, for people going through financial difficulties. They are not vacation spots, with maid service every day, beckoning to your every whim or request. What's disgusting about these Extended Stay places is the hotel and motel taxes that are absolutely ridiculous, which is not the hotels fault, however the prices are way too expensive. I should know. I bankrupted myself at the Extended Stay on Crestline Parkway in Sandy Springs. I went through $6000 in savings and maxed out my $4000 credit card between June 9, 2023 to January 7, 2024. Had applied and gotten hired with doordash and was ready to go to work for them, even though I knew it would be extremely difficult with my severe sciatic nerve injury I sustained in 2014 when I fell in a family Dollar on a wet mop floor that was not marked, but I had to do what I had to do, as I stated my entire life I would take my life before I ever came homeless. And if something doesn't happen soon that's exactly what's going to happen because I can't live like this anymore. And then my cell phone, car keys and brand new laptop got stolen. I couldn't afford a new telephone and pay the motel bill and was spinning in circles and ended up living in my car after another two nightmares. I'm barely hanging on by a thread now, but who cares. If you want to get rid of your friends immediately, or friends you think are friends but they're really not when you actually need them, have a major hardship and let them know as you ask for help and see what responses you get. I never knew people could be so heartless and selfish.You can look to the leadership in our government here for all the bullshit cost of living in Atlanta now. One good example is the Georgia insurance commissioner who's allowing car insurance prices to keep going up and up and up. Oh I'm sure he and every other government employee is making a fortune on the back end by the government lobbyists padding their pockets while the rest of us are suffering severely trying to make it day to day, and some of us not, like me.

Quiet! Rose and her staff are Amazing! They are like family or has become family! Will return when my health permits itself!

The area the hotel is in is real quiet. The guest and workers are friendly. Ms rose is a wonderful general manager she keeps the property up and running

I stayed here for a year while looking for a place and it was just great! The staff and management where amazing! While it is a long term hotel it came to feel like a great community. I could this place my home and anyone choosing to stay here will count themselves lucky. Thank you all for being so awesome!

This is a very convenient place to live while figuring out your next steps in life. No it’s not the Ritz but the staff here makes you comfortable and safe. This property is in a great area where you have access to a plethora of stores, restaurants, parks, and shops. The overall experience is great because the staff does care and as long as you respect the rules your stay here will be top tier.

I left Atlanta a year ago due to trauma. I came back to handle some unfinished business at that time I’ve been back like 4 months deciding how I’m wanting to function determining the situation that I’m moving forward from. No human should be authorized to enter into anyone’s personal space without notifying that individual that they are going in first. But these companies and cops enjoy making people believe that they have the right to do so, do to a policy that they came up with to invade someone’s personal space on their own. They have a policy that allows them to enter into your room without notice and I believe that isn’t a normal act. The one day that I didn't have time to organize and clean due to my school, schedule a whole kid and work having to be to work at 5am being super far from my day to day location. And my car went in for servicing earlier the da before on the way to work The car stopped and it had to get towed I had a very weird week with a few set backs but I was still moving forward. Remaining in a space for my sanity while transitioning back into the world after surviving Lucifer. I was left a note on the outside of the door about the room. Yeah that’s what happens when you’re a single mom moving forward after leaving an abusive human that uses your energy to survive. Well yeah it’s usually clean but those two days I was over whelmed. So leave a note when it’s clean because if your announcing when it’s not then use your brain for the world that we live in not everyone has time to pretend to have it all together and at times we have set backs but the choice of words and the deliverance and the gossiping at work about guest can be damaging. It felt like an abusive husband judging a mother with kids who didn’t wash the clothing and cook dinner because she was over whelmed and he judged her for that. A verbal warning a phone call communicating that this week we will be inspecting, is much better than waiting until someone is not in there room to snoop then leaving a note as if its something consistent. Perhaps it was my first time experiencing that because aside from the last month before that stay at another location I’ve never knew that Intown existed for transitioning after trauma. I chose the place because it makes sense for humans that need time to get their lives back in order. The last one I was in the employees man touched me to get my attention then had the nerve to justify himself by stating that I had my earphones on and couldn’t hear him. Exactly I dont want to hear you or you to touch me you can call the room or slip a note under the door if you need me, it’s after hours your closed on Sundays there’s nothing you need from me. In America a lot of people actually make themselves believe that what they do to others is legal because they have gotten their little paper work together to help them by pass the natural laws of life and humanity. The system does not have the right to do half the things they choose to do to people and businesses don’t have the right either they add it to cover themselves just in case they are caught they can say well it’s in our policy did you read it? And the system backs them. Well it’s in my policy don’t invade my private space without notice did you read that? Making private matters public is a sick way of communicating in the world that we live in full of humans that get an enjoyment out of humiliating people and exploiting them. Make adjustments to the way you do business especially if your property clearly needs repairs on the outside and is going through a transition from the inside! Stinky hallways and a number of needed repairs lost that in your notes at check in. But who cares drama is what the world wants! We all know who hides behind a business pretending to be God! Those that use their sheep to deliver messages then back them up with a pat on the back great job you did nothing wrong. Remind people give them a courtesy call giving them a heads up leave a note on the inside give the person time.

Stay was the worst experience in my life. Place me in a room that was not clean furniture horrible bed horrible. Stove top dirty refrigerator a joke. Would not clean room or give out clean towels. Room smelled of cigarettes smoke. Drug use outside in hallways. Had to buy own toilet paper. Make no sense to charge a room price and no service. By far the worst in town suite property. If this is how all properties are managed. Will be out of business soon. Need to have better managed properties with people who cares. Had to wait to check out for office was closed. We had guest deserve better.

The room was very comfortable and was cleaner than some of the other reviews make it out to be and all the appliances worked amazingly as well there wasn't a single disturbance throughout the whole stay.
