Interstate Motel Guthrie - Motel in Guthrie - 2213 E Oklahoma Ave, USA

Kinda outdated but works. Had trouble with people behind us. Yelling and screaming. I called the police. They started yelling and screaming and hour later. 6 am next morning woke to extremely loud screams and yelling. I called the police again. She started yelling again an hour later. Not the motel fault but place probably attracts bad people. Price ok room kind of smelled.

This ranked as the worst motel/hotel on our entire trip. I had to wipe everything down and disinfect before I felt comfortable enough to let our pup in the room. The positive out of this is that it cured hubby and I both from looking for quaint older drive up motels. They gave us a smoking room. Neither one of us smokes. They refused to move us stating it was the only pet room available. 1st time ever I didn't tidy up or leave a housekeeping tip. No bedbugs in our room thank God!!!

Charge for everything. They don't even have alarm clocks in the room. Just extort the hell out of you. Take your money and use it on a better room.

The bed and linens seemed clean and comfortable. The room itself is in need of serious cleaning and updates. Keep your shoes on. It's an old enough facility, that all the rooms were probably smoked in at one time, and you can still smell it. Great potential for a nostalgic night in one of the motels of of the past.

Some rooms are very spacious. Double size sheets on a queen size bed and had holes. They were fixing the air conditioners the day we left. There was a couch but my 3 year old went through it when I placed her on it to sit. VERY DANGEROUS!!!! The carpets turned our feet black immediately. Not the worst I have seen but could be great for the price with some tlc.

Pretty decent for a last minute 3 a.m. check-in. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room and comfy beds for the low price we paid. Carpet probably needs to be updated... I'd prefer no carpet in a motel. Linoleum/ hardwood seems like a cleaner choice.

You get what you pay for. Rooms smell like smoke, furniture is outdated, not a very secure facility. Seems to be alot of folks walking around day and night. The people in the next room had a fantastic night, from what i heard for 3 hours.then the other neighbors were yelling and fighting all night. It was like staying in a circus , a total mad house it was. I talked to a person that stayed there weekly and he said it was always like that. I wont be checking in here again.

Bed bugs, no heat and won't refund my money. Towels were un clean. Just nasty and I recommend the place be shut down.
