International House Hotel - Hotel in New Orleans - 221 Camp St, USA

The staff I can’t get over they were so so amazing! I took my mother for her birthday and they made it the best experience, the hotel was great, rooms were nice and comfortable and it is close to almost everything we did! The staff gave us recommendations on places to go and always had a smile and kind words while in passing to our room! Thank you! Will definitely stay here again! Coming back in June!

We came in January during a cold front and could not get the heat in the rooms above 58-60. We weren’t spending a lot of time in the room & the front desk gave us extra blankets, which did help overnight. Overall staff were friendly and knowledgeable and we loved the aesthetics of the lobby and bar. Shout out of to the bartender for whipping up a really lovely off-menu hot toddy when we were trying to warm up before going back to our not so warm room.

First time stay at New Orleans and the stay at International House was nice. The location is great and within walking distance to the French Qtr and many shops, restaurants, etc. Upon arrival, we had to wait to unload because there was no parking in front. We called and they asked that we drive around the block until space was available to do so. Once we parked a valet came by to help. The room was very nice and the beds were fabulous! However, there is not much counter space. The bathroom counter is small and other than that, there was a small desk in the room that I used for makeup and toiletries. Would have liked another counter or bench somewhere to place items. The closet is nice but also limited in space. There are drawers which is a plus but not enough space to hang your clothing. FYI - no ice machine. You will need to go down to the front lobby and request some. The room has a mini fridge though I do recommend you ensure it is cold enough to safely store your perishable items. The staff is incredibly friendly and very helpful! I enjoyed my stay and hope to return back soon!

Be aware, parking was $89 for two days, it's a little less if you don't want to use your car until you leave. We were told at checkin that they charge $60 for cover any punches we may make, it would be refund at checkout. At checkout, they took $35 for Resort fee, no upfront info. Our first room was not good, move to another, at least king bed, only one comfortable chair and one desk chair. They choose not to have a small coffee pot, no microwave (for brown bagging) possible for a snack, bed bugs on my neck, no corner sheets so very lumpy with sheets and mattress cover. No table, no info on the area etc.

Good location, not right in the heart of the French Quarter, but close enough to walk to and to still have a quiet night’s sleep. Nice room, great comfy bed. No coffee/tea facilities in the room, in fact no tea available in the hotel at all 😩. You can’t call yourself an International hotel if you don’t serve tea - not everyone drinks coffee.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. This property has a great bar and the bar tenders are very good at their craft. We were in town for the Saints game and this property is a perfect location. This hotel is one of a few hotels we keep on our list as a return stay.

Great location can get a little noisy. Really comfy bed. Amazing staff. Can recommend places to go. Clean and tidy hotel. Definitely staying here again. It 10 min walk to bourbon Street. Only thing that bugs me is changing of towels every day and taking the soap away. I just think hotel could be a bit more environmental friendly. Like if you want the towels changed to leave them on the floor. But it just a thing of mine that's all. It 100% a great hotel.

They let us drop our bags off early so we didn’t have to carry everything around. Check-in was smooth. The hotel was clean and quiet. The room wasn’t huge, but spacious. The bed was comfortable. The refrigerator didn’t work, which was a bit of a bummer. The bathroom was clean and well stocked for 2.
