Summary: cozy and quiet room, friendly staff and nice location. We stayed for 4 nights, and booked a standard king room. The room was nice and quiet, and the front desk lady was very friendly. I want to call out specially that this hotel provides 2 reusable bottles, and the water machine is easy to access (next to elevator), which is earth friendly. The only issue is the expensive parking (>$40 per night), but there are multiple options if you are willing to walk for 5min.
Winter is such a pleasant time to visit Monterey! The Clement exceeded our needs. The room was comfortable and just luxurious enough. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. We did not upgrade to a view room, as we were not in town long enough, to fully appreciate that opportunity. But next time....The hotel is not pretentious or stuffy as some high end hotels tend to be, but it is a lovely property. The C Bar is a great meeting place and has a happy hour. We did not dine in.
This was our second stay at the InterContinental. We stayed in room 333 which has one king bed, no fireplace, no balcony, and faces Cannery Row. We absolutely love this hotel; it is clean and beautiful. Its location is fantastic (right in the middle of Cannery Row). The last time we were here, we were allowed to take the luggage cart to our room. This time, however, we were told that a bellman MUST accompany the luggage cart. We highly recommend staying at this hotel if you don't mind paying the high prices. I think it's worth it.
Great location, nice hotel. Gym is good, year round hot tub and pool is nice. Ocean view of dolphins from my room! Check in was exceptionally slow and the front desk person was having computer problems and just dragged out the process even though my card was on file and the key was ready. Pretty miserable waiting.
Really appreciated the staff who were very welcoming and kind. The room itself was spacious and very clean. Really appreciate the large bathroom with big vanity, bathtub, shower, and all toiletries/soaps etc. Hotel was very quiet even with a room facing the courtyard entrance. Bed was very comfortable though I prefer firmer pillows. Easy to control AC and ample desk space. Late checkout at 2pm was lovely as well.
After six years since our last stay, I returned to this place, and the experience was still quite good. I love its convenient location, cleanliness, and the sophisticated ambiance it offers. It was easy for my little one to walk from the room to the beach and access nearby shops and restaurants. I particularly enjoyed the high-quality bathroom products that made my stay feel luxurious and worth the price of a 5-star hotel. The only downside was that we had to request slippers as they weren't provided in the room, and there was no laundry bag available. It would be perfect if an extra bag for wet clothes could be provided. The cleaning staff didn't speak much English, which made communication challenging, leading to a delay in getting the laundry bag. I understand the language barrier might have been a factor in her not responding promptly. Overall everything was great.
My experience was unforgettable and not for good reasons. First the room I booked said I would have an ocean view and unless I stood at the window and looked at an angle the view was of the other side of the building. I was informed I could switch to a better view for an additional $75 but when I got to that room the view was far worse all I could see was the city unless I stood on the balcony at which point half of the ocean was covered by the buildings. Definitely not worth the $500 the room cost. But that was not the worst part, the worst part was I came to this hotel for the spa and even tried to book my appointment in advance however by the end of the booking threw email I was informed I was booking for a massage only which was not what I wanted. I wanted a facial and I had stated that. Then I tried to book for the next day but they gave me an appointment for 5 hours after check out. They did end up getting me in sooner but the facial was not worth the $200 it cost. I get facials often this was the first time I ever lift with scabs and pimples all over my face when I went in I had one pimple on my face. My skin was not left soft but rather dry. Over all I spent $700 for a one day stay that was not worth it. I will not be coming back nor will I recommend this hotel.
My husband and I spend our honeymoon vacation here. The hotel located at Cannery Row, walking distance to Aquarium and the Monterey Bay. we got an upgraded ocean-view room and warm welcome from hotel staff which made this visit spectacular! The hotel's elegant design, combined with its top-notch amenities, beds and pillows comfortable, bathroom designed and maintained nicely, made for a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. With its convenient location and outstanding service, InterContinental has quickly become my go-to choice for accommodations whenever I travel to the area. 5 star!

Oh my gosh, really comfortable. It could be called a lodge. Plenty of outside areas to sit by the fire or whatever. The pool is heated well plus the hot tub. My suite was huge. Fireplace and TV room.
Stayed here for two nights in the middle of the week. Went in not expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. I was in an upstairs room that was cute and well kept with a nice small refrigerator and freezer combo. All amenities worked well. The hot
Room was nice, clean and spacious. The hotel has a rustic feel to it. The breakfast could be improved with adding scrambled egg and better quality of bread. Overall a good place and we would like to come back.
I joined First City Crossfit in September 2023 and could not be happier with the overall experience. I've been to many crossfit gyms around the country and this has been, by far, the best. Frank and the coaches are outstanding! They have such a desir
