My stay was absolutely flawless. From check in to check out the hotel provided excellent service. Every aspect of our stay went smoothly. The valet was always quick and polite with retrieving our car. A special THANK YOU to Mark at the front desk who helped me locate my suit that was left behind at check out. Thank you again. Would highly recommend this hotel for your business or vacation trip to New Orleans.

Positive: Great location. Amazing professional staff. Extremely clean hotel. Excellent, not crowded pool. High-quality amenities. Average priced food and beverage compared to the area. Air conditioning works Very well. Very good water pressure in the shower. Negative: Everything was perfect. This is the best maintained hotel in the city.

a bit older but nice. Room was very large and the hotel was very quiet. This is more in the financial district so not "in the action" if you will but all of that mess is nearby, you can walk just about anywhere. I liked that there were not gobs of tourists around and I wasn't harassed (as I was when walking solo in the f q) . The restaurant - not sure about that - but the hotel was great will go back

I’ll start with the positive being that it’s within great distance of bourbon street and good places to eat. However, upon arrival for our family reunion, our room was not ready. We were specifically advised that our room was cleaned but had yet to be inspected. We advised the concierge that due to the reunion, we were told we could check in earlier than 4PM, but to our surprise that was not the case. We had to wait a little over an hour for our room while also dealing with a passive aggressive attitude from the concierge due to us repeatedly asking for updates. While waiting, we witnessed more family members being able to check in without a hassle. Moving on to the room, please inspect your room before you unpack and get comfortable. We noticed the room had some cracks in the ceiling as well as some patches in the wall. It was disappointing that we did not have a refrigerator or microwave in the room. The shower also wouldn’t release water from the bigger shower head either. We also noticed a mouse running around on the lobby level. Also if you’re planning on driving, please be advised you have very limited options. It’s either valet parking or pay for the garage next door (I think it was $25.00 plus tax for 24 hours and no in and out access and $40.00 plus tax for 24hr in and out access.) Be warned using valet though, upon checking the passenger side of my vehicle several items were destroyed or tampered with. Ex: my car air freshener was missing the whole top and had been emptied and a two body oil perfumes were tampered with and one was emptied. I am highly disappointed.

Stayed in this so-called 4 star hotel from May 2 to May 8, 2024. There were problems as soon as I checked in. 1) I had specifically booked a room with a King sized bed. Without any prior notice or explanation, I was given a room with 2 double beds. I immediately called reception to inform them of the mistake. I was told abruptly that there were no more rooms with a King sized bed and that I would have to wait at least a day or 2 to obtain one. I asked to speak to the manager regarding the issue and was told the manager was unavailable. Was told the manager will contact me but no one bothered. 2) On the night of May 4, 2024, I was abruptly woken up at 9pm with the blaring sound of the emergency alarm. An automated voice in the hallway instructed guests to evacuate. All the hotel guests were then squeezed into the emergency stairwells and had to make our way down to the ground floor where we exited out of the hotel. There were no hotel staff to reassure or direct the guests at any point in time. When no emergency services arrived after 10 minutes, all the guests filed back to the hotel. Again, no hotel staff was present to provide information of any kind regarding the alarm. No one bothered to inform us whether it was safe to re- enter the hotel. No information or assurances of any kind were dispensed on that night or after the event. 3) On the day that I checked out (May 8, 2024), I asked to verify the bill. When I checked through it, I had noted a number of charges (from the minibar) which were erroneously charged to my account. I then promptly notified the staff member regarding the errors. I asked for the errors to be deleted and a new bill to be printed with the correct amounts entered. The staff member took a substantial length of time to sort out the above. In the end, she stated that she wasn’t able to print out a corrected copy of the bill and that the manager will email me later that day. Did the manager bother to email me? Nope! The above highlights a number of simple yet unforgivable errors: 1) If you’re going to provide guests with a choice of rooms, do make sure you adhere to what was selected. 2) Train your staff to inform guests when there is an alarm- whether the alarm is genuine or false. We would like to know whether our lives are in danger. 3) Be consistent with what you tell your guests. If you tell your guests you’ll get the manager to call back, do it. Suffice to say, I won’t be returning to this hotel.

Stayed for a business/birthday trip. I booked a room with a balcony. I would love to stay again! Service was wonderful. Valet was awesome! I was able to bring my pup as well, but there is a fee for those unaware and a nearby park. I only wish I got to lounge in the pool. I’m looking to become a member in the near future.

The place was immaculate, the staff was very friendly and helpful, they treated us like royalty, we were put in a suite that was amazing. We celebrated our 10yr anniversary with these wonderful people. I would recommend them to all wanting to have a pleasurable time.

I've stayed at many high end hotels and this one was not up to par. Windows aren't double pained and you can hear every car, and music situation as they drive by. Very hard to sleep in a fun city. Also the doors slam every time someone leaves a room. No soft close at all. Also being smoke free the hotel reeked of smoke. The bathroom had water stains from mold on the ceilings as well. The saving grace was the staff was friendly and attentive. The decour is so dated and could use a major refresh. My next trip to N.O. I'll choose a nicer hotel as these rooms aren't worth the price as other intercontinental hotels.
