InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue, an IHG Hotel - Hotel in Bellevue - 850 Avenue Sq NE, USA

To start, the aesthetics of this hotel are gorgeous. From the lobby to the rooms and even the hallways, the attention to detail in the design is outstanding. Rooms are comfortable and quiet with nice furniture, welcoming decor and comfortable beds. Bath products smell amazing. Wifi was very fast. ||Additionally, employees are extremely friendly and go out of their way to acknowledge you and ask how your day is. ||My understanding is the hotel had only opened a few weeks prior to my visit. It didn’t feel very busy and sometimes the lobby and even the bar were just occupied by employees. I did encounter a few issues during my stay but believe they can be resolved and that the fundamentals are solid, which is why I still gave 5 stars. ||The issues I encountered during my stay (I did let the hotel know about the first two):||- My room on the 7th floor did not have hot water. Turning the shower to the hottest setting provided only lukewarm water. |- The bathroom tap was backwards. Cold was warm and warm was cold. |- The light switch in the bathroom was filthy from construction dirt (I hope)|- Breakfast food quality was good but service wasn’t great. Had to flag down employees to ask for coffee refills three times despite only four tables being sat. ||All in all, I would stay here again and would recommend it to others. I suspect the issues I encountered are growing pains that come with a new operation and a new building - nothing major that can’t be fixed.

Classic Intercontinental experience with a great new feeling. We enjoy the professional and elegant touches that different Intercontinentals bring - Bellevue certainly holds true to this. Staff were well trained and kind, room was clean and comfortable. Amenities were plentiful, with a nice gym as well. Location is truly hard to beat. You are a short walk to a lovely downtown park, across the street from malls and shopping, with plenty of restaurants and nightlife around the area. Looking forward to next time!

Absolutely luxurious. Rooms felt clean and renovated, everything in the hotel felt luxurious with the Rolls Royce parked outside. Staff were one of the best, toilet was broken but they fixed it five minutes after I called. Recommend this hotel if the price was lowered just a little bit.

Great hotel, friendly staff. Missing little things like the toiletry kit has a sew kit but no toothbrush. Room had a malfunction, and staff responded quickly and figured it out. Breakfast was great. If you are a DE member, it is worth getting breakfast over the points for sure. The refrigerator is terrible in the room. Loaded with hotel pay drinks no room for you're own stuff. If you move the stuff in the fridge you get charged. Over all good stay, nice hotel.

This hotel looks and feels completely different from pictures. First of all none of the restaurants are open have a horrible overpriced breakfast and had a cocktail at the bar, which was very underwhelming was not very good and they had 20% on everything. Rooms were nice. But room service was horrible and had to throw it away definitely not worth the money

The minute we arrived, Wow! Location excellent, rooms well appointed, bedding divine.||Service is a 10 star not 5!!! Highly recommend this Hotel. Bar is excellent, staff amazing, rooms are nice, bathrooms are done wonderfully.||We love the location just perfect

Congratulations on the grand opening! Suddath Hospitality Solutions was privileged and grateful to have installed all furniture and room supplies in the hotel and public areas. The hotel is an excellent addition to Bellevue & the Pacific Northwest!

We had a nice little time at the bar last week. Delicious cocktails (including a couple zero proof options) and while we didn't have any food, it looked good from afar!
