Inner Space Cavern - Tourist attraction in Georgetown - 4200 S I-35 Frontage Rd, USA

We went on a Thanksgiving weekend and it was not crowded. We were able to join the regular tour in 10 minutes. The tour is around 90 mins. The guide was great 😃. He had a sense of humor 😁. The cave had about 3 large halls. inside was warm so no need to wear any jackets. This is not a wheelchair or stroller friendly path. But you can take infants on a baby carrier.

Amazing cave structures can be seen here. I did the hidden adventure tour which involved some nice paths, not too tight. It was very cool and educational. The air was a bit cooler and a whole lot more humid down below. Our guide was good, she shared some things and made family appropriate jokes. Overall the tour was about an hour and a half long. The wait was about an hour. Its worth a visit, especially if caves are your thing.

I've been wanting to visit this cavern for years and finally had the chance to do it. I was not disappointed.😁💓 Parking is free and easy to get in and out of. They have a gift and snack shop in the guest area and the restrooms are very clean. They offer active duty, veteran and retired discounts as I'm sure a senior discount as well....be sure to ask for this. Tours run often and the tour guides are very knowledgeable about the cave and ready to answer any questions.💪 The cavern itself is AMAZING. It stays nice and cool throughout the year. The rock formations are incredible and the passageways are fun to travel thru. The lighting inside make the formations come alive and the views of each "room" are spectacular. It's quite a treat to see what nature has carved after millions of years.👍 There are a ton of restaurants and hotels within the general area. This was well worth the drive from Houston.🚗

More about money than conservation, and a big wait for them to up-sell photos in the initial area of the cave. Some beautiful cave rooms, but overall experience was low compared to other caves in the area. First, the tour groups are relatively huge, and tours were packed in closely after another, so we were frequently passing another group, too. This made for a very noisy trek and some people were touching what they could reach while the guide was a long distance away "guiding" the first few people and seldom waiting for the rest of the group. It might be good for taking younger kids, but adults that don't like experiencing a cave while dodging a bunch of other people and louder than an 8th grade auditorium.... Probably a pass.

Great experience. Awesome caves with an easy path with hand rails and mats for safety. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the caves and their history. We took the Adventure tour, but will return to do the Hidden Passage tour on our next trip!

We had a great time with the whole family, it was amazing. My advice is to come to the opening or a little later, in this case the groups will be small and you will get more pleasure from visiting this place

What an amazing experience! Definitely a must see in the area. I visited with my 5 year old daughter and she loved it! The tour guide was just amazing and very knowledgeable.
