Inn on 17 - Hotel in Savannah - 4009 Ogeechee Rd, USA

This review is your warning….do not stay here. The place is filled with giant roaches. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by one of these monsters. I didn’t even know roaches got that big. I immediately told the lady at the front desk and she rolled her eyes and said bugs happen in Georgia. I asked her if we could at least have someone come spray and I got another lovely eye roll before being told later. After thinking it over we decided we didn’t want to sleep with the roaches so told her we had decided not to stay and could we at least get a partial refund. More eye rolls and then we were told she would look into it later that night. I asked her if she could please help us with it before we left and she informed me that she wasn’t gonna do that. I asked her what their policy was and she said they didn’t have one that they weren’t “some fancy hotel”. I guess you have to be a fancy business to have a cancellation or refund policy. I have never experienced such rudeness, disrespect and again GIANT bugs everywhere at a hotel or motel. It was awful.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Anything outside a 1-star review is likely a paid review. Save your money and get someplace nice with decent customer service. The lady at the front desk was all out rude to us and wouldn’t even supply us with bug spray to help with their roach problem. She then got an attitude when we decided we did not want to stay here and she did not want to give us a refund. “It’s Georgia and it’s been raining”… We live in Georgia and that’s not the problem. Overall, it is not worth the time or money to stay here. Spend an extra 20-30 and at least enjoy your time.

Close to everything! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Remembered us from a previous stay over a year ago. Let us check in a little early. Accommodated our three dogs. Remodeled rooms look fantastic and love the walk in shower! It is the only place we will stay in Savannah!

My stay at the Inn on 17 was absolutely delightful. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The atmosphere at the inn was peaceful and quiet, allowing me to unwind and enjoy a restful stay. The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable accommodation. What impressed me the most was the great value that the Inn on 17 offered - affordable rates without compromising on quality. I highly recommend this charming inn to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I will definitely be returning in the future!

Please spend the extra money and go someplace else. We stayed for 5 nights while checking in we were told our keys were under the doormat. No keys there. Go back again get two keys neither work. Go back again and she has to show us exactly how the keys need to be placed because their system is so finicky. Not a single thing in the room really looked like it had even been wiped down. But yeh know whatever place is cheap 🤷🏼‍♀️ my biggest issue Night one we get back to the hotel neither of the keys are working door is flashing red. No one on site. We call the motel number and are told to be let back in the room we have to pay a $25 lockout fee because it’s our fault the keys don’t work… lol you’re funny. I’m not paying to be let into a room that I payed for because your key system is trash. Housekeeping didn’t stop by a single time in 5 days with new towels or toilet paper or to take the trash out. Oh and we slept really good seeing all the roaches pooping everywhere. Pictures are posted of said cockroach :)

The best place to stay in savannah especially with a pet and if you want peace and quiet. Plenty of grass to walk dog and picknic table outside. Staff is helpful and it feels safe. I love this hotel. We stayed with our dog and he loved it too. There's friendly cats outside too. Thank you for a great stay Inn on 17. Tammy and all staff. Thank you🐶💗

If you’re thinking about saving money and getting somewhere cheap just bite the bullet and spend a little more… Genuinely a disgrace they even have people staying here. Paint over mold.. the motel next door is even worse and the environment is so unsafe.. my jaw was on the floor as soon as I walked in. 3 stars for service because I did get a refund but I think that’s only because I booked through airbnb and complained. Had to find another place to stay last minute after an entire day of driving. I understand trying to hustle and make money but just do it right.. Nobody should be staying here and owners should feel ashamed to even have this listed. THE INDOOR PHOTOS ARE FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT THE OUTDOOR ARE FROM THEIR ROOMMATES NEXT DOOR.

Booked a room. Got a confirmation #. Called back a week before I was supposed to arrive, they had lost my reservation. So I re-booked the room. Driving from Florida, going to a wedding, shortly before I was to arrive, I got a phone call. Something about a problem with the room. They were cancelling my room and going to refund me. I had to scramble to get another hotel. I wonder if maybe they gave my room to another person who they lost a reservation for?
