Unbelievably large room with a huge king size bed in one room and a queen bed in the other room. Both beds super comfortable. Right on the beach. Small fridge and microwave for some simple food prep. Perfect for what we needed. One quirk was that we had to drive to another hotel a few minutes away to get our keys.
great view of ocean, though interesting beach field of a few hundred feet with trail to walk through before you get to the beach. convenient parking, modest but nice and clean one room condo. Curtains didn't close all the way, but that was fine. No elevator to second floor, if it matters. Price was very low, which we appreciated. We made the reservation that day.
Perfect location being right on the promenade facing the beach/ocean. Great deck and seating outside. Room was clean with very comfortable memory foam bed. Bathroom was outdated. Overall great stay minus the fact that there is No Air Conditioning. Having stayed there is August, the room was super warm. There was a provided fan but that didn't help too much.
The room was nicely updated. The view was beautiful and it was nice and quiet. However, there was black mold growing around the bathtub, which is unacceptable for the price of $350 for a Sunday night. We stayed here because our friends booked. Due to the price and condition it may be our only visit.
2 1/2 stars. Use to be very nice place to stay. Clean, well maintained, convenient and responsive on-site office. ||Now the office is across town, the wear and tear is showing everywhere. Maid service is average.||No longer worth the top dollar they are charging. Especially for Seaside!
We were seeking a place with an ocean view and lucked into a 2-bedroom suite at the Inn of the Four Winds. "Lucked into" because we inadvertently scheduled our trip during Hood to Coast, a massive relay run that draws over 10,000 runners, volunteers, etc. to Seaside. ||We were pleasantly surprised that our room had a small kitchenette, along with a comfortable bed, great location on the Prom, small balcony, and Smart TV, and that it was just a short walk to the ocean or to the main drag in Seaside with innumerable pubs and touristy things to do. It checked many of the proverbial boxes.||A few notes for the proprietors: some signs of wear and tear (bathroom wallpaper, tissues smelled moldy, one bath towel came with a hole in it). Housekeepers started door-knocking by 9am and there's no keeping them at bay with a Do Not Disturb doorhanger. WiFi was really spotty. But these are small, fixable things. ||Overall, we were glad to find the Inn of the Four Winds!
What a delightful place to stay. You are right on the boardwalk with the dunes down to the beach. Rooms were clean. There was a coffee makers, dishes and utensils available. The deck looks out onto the boardwalk and beach. Easy walking distance to downtown Seaside.
I'm not sure why this hotel has as high of a rating as it does, because it is pretty awful. For as much as I paid, I feel robbed. I've paid less to stay on Central Park in NYC. The location and proximity to the ocean are the only redeeming qualities of this place. Please note that there is NO A/C, which may have been ok before the climate started changing. However, with no a/c, no fans and only one small sliding door to allow air in on the beach side, the room is stagnant, hot and stuffy in the summer. I had to go to the local Safeway and buy electric fans so we would be minimally comfortable. (More money spent on top of the outrageous $450/night rate we were already paying.) We stayed in a King suite with queen bedroom upstairs. The walls are paper thin and the stairs and deck are creaky and loud. From the queen bedroom, You can hear EVERY step that people make in and going to/from other rooms. Between people clomping up and down the stairs, loud laughter, slamming doors, and letting kids run and stomp, getting sleep was pretty much impossible. Aside from the slamming of doors, the other guests weren't being inconsiderate. It's just the nature of the poor construction of the building. Our room had a cracked bathroom sink which leaked water below, ruining the one extra roll of toilet paper provided, so we had to call for more. There are multiple anchor holes in the walls, a missing towel hook, the shower head leaked water in all directions, the bar of the towel rack above the toilet fell off when I removed the towel from it, the microwave barely heated food, the tv was impossible to figure out (even with two teenagers trying to help), and the carpet, sofa and throw pillows were old and grungy. I feel like housekeeping does a good job, as the linens, towels, and counters were clean. Parking is a nightmare, as the spaces are small and cramped. There is one small round table, one desk chair, one desk, one lounge chair plus the two-seater sofa. No space to actually have more than one person eat a meal, play a game, etc. There is an ice machine on site, but no other amenities and no management on site. Stay elsewhere and get more for your money. This place is NOT worth it.
this place is absolutely beautiful & so cute. i love that their flower is local & home grown & their display is TOP notch. Kory was our budtender, he was very nice & helpful !! would definitely recommend if youâre in the area !
It's a long, windy, and narrow road into the day use area, but it's definitely worth it. The coastline is beautiful. The parking was busy when we arrived, and there was a sign saying it was full when there were actually maybe 10 spaces still availabl
June is a great time of year because of all the wildflowers, but parking isn't great (so get there early!) 80% of the hike is relatively easy... but it's that other 20% that reminds you this IS a mountain after all. Don't let that deter you though! J
Love this store. She carries great local jams, syrups, nuts, wines, chocolates and other yummy things. She has a wonderful selection of Dean Crouser art things. Coasters, wall art, stickers & more.
The gentleman there was very helpful and informative. I loved the calm atmosphere with a hint of excitement. Talk about memories. Better than a Blockbuster. Took my son to experience and learn a little something about real movies. I see a new traditi
