Tried this without knowing anybody else who had been there. What a wonderful find! Rooms are amazingly spotlessly clean and gorgeous. Looks like it is brand new. Plenty of desk space, comfortable chairs, sofa, small kitchenette, a wow of a shower room. Yes, I am calling it a room. Everything is updated. I wish this was closer to my home state. I would be a regular. My room looked out across the river into Canada. Pretty at night with the lights shimmering. Highly recommend it if you are anywhere near this area. It is worth the drive, in my opinion.
Stayed here five years ago (August 2018) at the tail end of my post-bar exam trip to Maine. This is a very nice, albeit unconventional, place. The rooms are nice. The beds are nice and cozy. Bathrooms are more than adequate.
Staff was extremely friendly. The night I checked in, the front desk girl called me to make sure I was still coming and happily stayed late so I could check in shortly before midnight (I had climbed Katahdin earlier the same day and had not realized how far away the inn was from Katahdin). She was also a good cook at the restaurant. Other front desk staff very courteous as well. One gave me suggestions on sights to see across the border.
Food was delicious at the restaurant. Had a nice steak that was an explanation point on a great vacation. Ployes for breakfast also delicious.
Madawaska and northern Aroostook County are beautiful bilingual places. Culture is like nowhere else in the US. Edmundston is a nice town as well with friendly francophone folks (friendliness declines, unfortunately, once you cross into Quebec).
Would highly recommend the Inn of Acadia to any visitors to Maine's northern tip and may return as soon as next year.
Peggy and Amy were very welcoming and professional at front desk, both at check in and check out. Had issue with room which was quickly resolved.
Beth from housekeeping also professional, she took care of my needs when I had to change rooms in a timely manner.
And Sandra upstairs in restaurant for breakfast had a smile on her face every morning while she made our ployes. Very personable and professional.
Dinner was excellent also, but didn't catch the name of our waitress .
Overall excellent relaxing time for all three nights.
Will definitely return again.
Thanks for excellent accomodations.

We loved our stay and we will return here again. I highly recommend the Inn of Acadia as the best place to stay in Madawaska! 5 stars for sure!

My husband and I stayed here on the first night we arrived in our new town. The beds are exceedingly comfortable. We arrived very late and the staff made sure to give us instructions on how to enter. Even when I called to make the reservation it was a pleasant experience.
My girlfriend and I drove her nephew to his brother's place June 30, 2023. It was an 8 hour drive one way. The Inn was right down the street. Amazing rooms, great price, and excellent people that work there. The place is classy, very clean, great free breakfast. If I'm ever up that way I will definitely be staying there. Thank you
Very nice rooms. Very clean and most have descent views of the area. The breakfast was nice and there are a few dining options close enough for a quick walk. I highly recommend a stay here. Everyone is friendly and even though things were still coming out of Covid restrictions did their best to be accommodating. It was such a nice change from what you typically find from points south.
We love making a special stop to visit the Four Seasons Trails! They have well maintained trails that are the perfect balance of easy and fun! They keep the trails groomed for both skate and classical, and have excellent snow coverage all season thro
The lobster roll was hella good. The vibe is like a roadside hamburger stand but with great seafood. Lots of seating outback. A good old school American food place.
